I read that maybe a shortfall on what they was expecting from the oilers to the tune of £15bn.. That's not pocket change.

More windfall taxes never far away.

Special dividend is alternative, which I like. Plus Lloyds could go on acquisition trail. Never too big to do that. Vod is an example. Plenty of stuff in the bargain bin out there in financial services.

UK plc not in good shape. The Govt are running like the chicken with no head. They has turned the Uk from being a FTSE100 to an AIM stock. They are steering us onto the rocks..USA no better.

Difficult to see the investment case for Uk stocks.
