We all know investing carries risks. But its how far the divine hand of the Govt or others makes things worse for the shareholders..
If push comes to shove you will be just collateral damage.. I was interested to see though with SVB it was the bond holders that got the treatment...

There was no need for the Govt to stop the dividend. The BoE was underwriting the CBBLS loans. In many ways as \i see it the economy is even more shaky. IMF ramping up the panic bell.

You know that the Dividend income funds only invest in the dividend-paying stocks...Along with a lot of players like us.
Foolish to play around with the dividend.... Govt should not have leaned on these banks to stop it. It a private company obligated to act in the best interest of its shareholders... Thats the bottom line..
