I was first to arrive at the AGM, so had a few private conversations with people before things kicked off.

Mike R said their new 60KVa module uses 'AlkaMem technology', although it is not AlkaMem. By using an off the shelf product, which was 'good enough' to achieve what they needed, it would accelerate getting units out of the door. This has enable the construction industry to get their hands on the products, rather than keeping everything else on hold until AlkaMem was perfected. I thought that was a very sensible business strategy.

Alkamem is definitely coming though. It's just that, in order to manufacture the current offering, AlkaMem isn't required.

When AlkaMem is perfected, it will be amazing, but even without it, we have some world class products to offer.

My big take away from yesterday was that Mike Rendall and David Harvey are top drawer personnel, and seem to relish the opportunity to be working in a small company, where they can follow their instincts to progress the tech.

BTW, Mike R had been working on the idea of the new cracker for 15 years, and has now been given the opportunity to make it a reality.

I was also impressed with Peter Dixon-Clarke, who seems a safe pair of hands.

I suspect you are correct Beach, but the fact that it can be configured to produce h2, for any f/c, made me ask the question about 5x9’s, and Mike R confirmed that it could, if you wanted to configure it that way. So it has a wider market potential, than just supporting AFC units.

Exactly Haggis. That was how it was presented by Mike Rendall.........and they have miniaturised the technology, so that the cracker modules are the size of a fire extinguisher, so that multiple units can be bundled into a 'fridge' sized package.
They foresee uses such as refuelling h2 trucks (F/C or combustion. ie JCB) on building sites/depots, amongst many others etc.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the cracker will be able to work with all fuel cells, PEM etc, as it can be configured to produce 5x9's if required. So, not just a Heath Robinson add on for an AFC generator.

mucksy, can you explain why you feel that a .5% short would be the main driver of the share price vs the 99.5% of shares that are not shorted, in your view?
Surely, the low volume of shares traded recently indicates that most people are just waiting to see what the future holds.

He states that, ‘it’s kind of, to simplify it, an engine, which burns hydrogen as a fuel’. AFAIK, it’s not burning hydrogen, but rather a chemical reaction, isn’t it?

Garonne, you are the only person that continually reminds people of the New Year predictions from 2020. They were only ever meant to be a bit of fun, and one of the provisos of submitting a prediction, was that nobody would hold anyone to account if they were wrong. Circumstances have changed since those predictions were made, so why keep reminding everyone?
When you invested in AFC, you must have had an SP in mind, so quite clearly you were also wrong , otherwise you wouldn't have invested. I just can't get my head around how obtuse you would have to be to spend every hour of every day (including weekends) on this forum. Life is precious - go and live it.

I’m not sure Klunk. Assuming it has the same power rating, it may be simply ease of access to the parts inside. I do see that the ‘Mace’ tower has extra vents in the roof panel - so it may be to dissipate the heat generated inside, so that the operator can touch the components without harm, rather than the system needing cooling to operate more efficiently.
IMO, some of the perceived larger size cabinet could simply be due to camera lense distortion.

Klunk, I don’t think the operating temperature has been an issue. Looking at the pictures from the Acciona deployment, we see there is an AFC canopy, but it isn’t covering the tower in any way - it’s there for the operators. Also, there looks to be a solar panel on top, so putting it in the shade doesn’t seem to be part of the plan.

mucksy, Enowa are the main sponsor, supplying green hydrogen. Where did you see the part about calling the fuel cell as Enowa's?
It would be nice to know what is going on, but I suspect that Enowa will become the operator of the AFC unit, now that it has been proven for the EXE series. AFC don't want to chase their units around the world each time one is deployed.

Sending things to Europe these days is a nightmare. Even ordinary items, such as clothing, often results in weeks of delays. Sending an item that no one has ever seen before is surely going to involve more than a cursory glance, in its passage through customs.
Some things are just beyond AFC’s control. Get used to it.

They are definitely pushing the 'Green Hydrogen' contribution, as some luddites, in the past, have argued that AFC must have been using Grey H2, implying therefore, that the whole H2 FC thing was a sham. Good to see that they are debunking that myth.
