Fantastic research - glad you are posting your information and sharing for all to see - as already pointed out, IES only need a few of these deals to close and it will be company changing - looking at your excellent research though, it is looking good for some big wins for IES across many of the countries they are directly producing in or have licensing deals agreed! 🤞

I’m very impressed with the deal!

How else will IES sell into the huge Asia market and compete directly with other local producers if Endurium is not sourced and produced in China!

IP - if the Chinese want to copy the IP they will , at least with the deal they have some form of IP protection within Asia - but if the IP was to be copied where would the copier sell it to outside of Asia - other than Russia and North Korea - Most countries wouldn’t touch it if they may infringe on patents/copyrights - image the costs and potential litigation to continue to use Endurium in certain countries!

It’s more than IP - what about the cheaper sourcing of components for the global supply plus the vanadium price security deal!

‘Less’ risky IMO with this deal…

Anyway, I’m waiting for the next few updates/ announcements to complete the global supply set up.

The only region there is no mention on IES/ Endurium is South America - the rest (excluding Russia of course and a few others) appears to be covered!

The Invinity Funding Model Explained: An Illustration

The Problem: How does a small company deliver a £2.3 Billion project like Hagshaw LDES without raising billions?

The Solution: They don't fund it themselves. They have designed a system where partners and customers fund the project.

Here's how the three biggest financial pieces work:

1. The £1.1 Billion Electrolyte (The Biggest Cost):

Who Pays: A major financial partner (like KKR or UKIB) via the VERL SPV.

How: They provide a £1.1 Billion "mortgage" to VERL, secured against the non-degrading electrolyte itself.

IES's Position: Zero capital required. They co-own the SPV and take 50% of the profits from the lease, but the massive upfront capital is provided by the financial partner.

2. The Manufacturing Ramp-Up (Working Capital):

Who Pays: Strategic partners and customers.

How: Through three key cash-generative streams that provide upfront, non-dilutive funding:

The Upfront Hardware Profit: The ~£135M profit from the Hagshaw hardware sale provides a massive cash injection.

Capacity Reservation Retainers: Fees paid by partners like Frontier Power to secure factory space.

Upfront Royalty Payments: The "get paid first" model from the China (UESNT) deal.

IES's Position: These combined streams are designed to provide more than enough working capital to fund the manufacturing ramp-up without needing a major equity raise.

3. Strategic Equity (The "Optional" Final Piece):

Could it Happen? Yes, a strategic partner (like the new VERL partner) might take a small equity stake to align interests.

Is it Necessary? No. Based on the self-funding model above, it is not a financial necessity. It would be a strategic choice, not a desperate need for cash.

As this was announced out of the blue on Friday, I wonder if there are any more partnerships to be announced very soon. You think whoever these partners are, they and IES, would want to highlight partnerships around the same time for maximum PR/brand coverage!

Once these are sorted below - that should provide Endurium access to most of the globe with local/ish production sites for each partner.

Looking very good, even if I was thinking of profit taking, I wouldn't sell into this just yet as I feel this has further to rise just on Fridays RNS.

Not a bad results so far considering Endurium was launched 7 months ago!!!

I’m expecting a follow on general update next week - I am also expecting a new order announcement to supply UESNT with a few batteries (similar to Everdura)
