George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Any day now we should see the 18mth FY results, which won'rt be brilliant as already indicated, but i'm more interested in the progress since closed date of Dec2023. We already know of the contract win, recently announced, but have we utilised any of the £40M or at least have some of it planned for this year? The SP needs a boost and a re-rating so good news please BOD.
CEO always comes across as calm, quiet and subdued, but must admit he looked tired, too many late nights getting these deals done and over the line?
but personally not surprised not much detail, they have a fine line to cross in giving out market sensitive information, so these types of presentations are usually high level and don't have much future info, thats not already in the market. Hopefully more info when 18mths results formally issued latter end of April.
Still a lot of sellers in the market until these die down it will only drift upwards, some PI's only interested in quick profit and move on. I'd be surprised in 12 months this is still in single digits.
It was stated on the "Disposal of Energy Management Division" update RNS. "The Company expects to announce a trading update for the 18-month period ended 31 December 2023 in the second half of February 2024."
I would take that as they are paying us to use myZero, thats what usually happens with a license you pay the owner.
perhaps next time there is a company meets investor you could ask the question?
According to their 12month results announcements the energy services part is "Energy Services is segmented into three verticals - Measure (primarily MY ZeERO), Reduce (primarily lighting) and Connect (eSolar and eCharge)." so metering is still within e.energy
Interesting to look back and see how the SP improves coming into a results announcement, only for it to fall back heavily once released. Always tempting into selling into results, with the intention of buying back at a lower price, but never do!
Will we get the same again this year? Results expected May.
Typical inverse market reaction, beats expectations SP down, of course, madness
I doubt they can because i suspect we are in the closed period before results due i think in April. IMHO i cannot see a special dividend they will be wanting to grow the company in some way, hopefully we will find out the plans with the results.
we all just need to be patient. I know if the SP drops much more i'll be adding to my holding, for most this is a screaming buy now even on valuation terms. good luck all.
Had confirmation the online meeting following the EGM to vote on the sale has been cancelled, hope nothing untoward with the sale, and just down to availability of directors etc. if so it should be re-organised shortly.
Must admit with the news of the sale finally coming through i was expecting circa 10p per share, wondering if the results expectations have something to do with it, "lower end of expectations indicated". hopefully onwards and upwards now with the debt being wiped out. live within your means comes to mind.
Probably due to low volumes, some co's do this in between Christmas and New Year.
we'll see in new year when things should get back to normal, and hopefully buyers return to the market, along with this awaiting RNS re see off.
Canaccord are a wealth management/investment banking so wouldn't own stock, they are reporting what their clients have bought/sold.
Just finished a company presentation around the results today on this platform, interesting watch if you want to sign up. A recording should be ready shortly to view if you sign up.
So how can this fall so far back from yesterday initial jump, its now lower than it was before the improved guidance, market is mad. See it so often improvement in company earnings, lower market price!
Now we know why he didn't contribute to the fund raising. interesting to know when company first knew as that is important information to take or not the share offer.
Done and happy to do so.
my first target 6p where it was before the cash call. easily more to come IMHO
Bit harsh!, why can't the company just tell the shareholders what the terms are instead of having to go to another website and attempt to search for them. its not hard surely, no very good service for the investors of 'our' company. should be detailed on their own website.
Has anyone got the details of this demerger in terms of the terms of the share consolidation and does the shareholders actually get any of the new company or a payment for it, also whats the timeline, can;t find anything on their website or announcements about it. Its all about what the new company will be doing not about us the shareholders. thanks
