Was first tipped PFG a good buy a long time ago but not had much spare cash but might have some coming soon. My basic understanding of PFg is they loan people money who struggle to get loans but charge extremely high interest rates for this service. reading the link bellow where the financial conduct authority and making banks be sensible to the people they lend money to who are never out of debt then surely they wont look favourably at PFG?? Obviously this has been tipped to do well so what am I missing please?? As you can tell don't understand the business well but people who do think they can improve so I m missing something somewhere?? Any help appreciated trying to see how they have a moat around them as per buffetology investing!!

It would be great Bladesman but they don't really need it, as all lenders apart from ARCM are in agreement that what PMO proposes is a great idea and have all agreed to vote in favour, the only one who won't vote in favour is ACRM and they don't have enough to get vote bellow 75% unless they can but more of PMO's debt I doubt they will but have to wait until the 12th of feb to have the vote results. Once we get the result in our favour then SP will really take off and then Zama sale would really help us!!

I guess theres a slight chance ARCM could buy extra debt but I don't think there popular with other lenders who will be doing everything they can to keep them out the picture. Its looking favourable at the moment hopefully we will get the vote on the 13th of feb then we can count out chickens think most things are a formality after that!!

Oiluser couldn't agree the pleb who wrote this article must also be on ARCM payroll its purposefully written to sow doubt in our minds. The money ARCM have at stake they will be more than happy to pay a few dead beat journalists to spout lies as they do best to assist ARCM's own agenda if the telegraph article wasn't paid for I ll eat the unsold out my work boots, this is no different!!

They must have a rough guide of who's buying it and what price for by now the bridging loan is for 200 and odd million so guessing sale price must be roughly 300 million then take the tax off which is roughly 30% in Mexico

Thanks again Lady Luck couldn't agree more, spoke to investor relations at premier oil several times (Very helpful and honest) they find it extremely trying the lies that get spouted on here and false articles in the press trying to suppress the SP. Our CEO and CFO have done a fantastic job turning the ship around they have responded to the lies and criticism with actions that have all been fantastic deals. PMO could of bought chevron or marathon or connoco Phillips assets but when you look at the price paid for the production figures in GAS which is far better than oil. The package were buying is a much better deal than any of the other asset aquisitions I've seen and think any oil company in the North Sea would jump at the chance to buy the assets for the given sum. Its a simple face the deals TD has done have been the BEST DeALS done in the North Sea EON ZAMA and now BP assets well done, Mr Durant Mr Rose :)
