NM is playing this like a fiddle - IMHO he's once again orchestrating the timing to suit the changing external environment and to ensure when the payday comes it's as large as possible for shareholders (ie himself). Sometimes that means stringing things out a little longer (as when we needed to when low on funding 2 years ago).

I believe the delay getting Cornerstone's ownership clarified via the split is crucial to what happens next, and Nick knows it. So things have been put on the go-slow. e.g.: a) Aguinaga getting a few 'meh' halo-type drills in first to keep the excitement down (knowing full well from the geophysical surveys that it extends towards the surface, and exactly where). b) the MRE update being delayed by 3-6 months from the Q1 original update plan (despite already having tens of KMs of assays to add, even despite the backlog).

NM is conducting this. Perhaps we can hear the opening notes for the final Act being played...?!

And in the meantime I snagged 20000 more at 21.6 (it was listing 21.8 at the time this morning - Hsbc did good for me). Wish I was this fluid a few years ago when I was buying thousands with relative pennies! Hope everyone is doing well and keeping cool. 2 more weeks of heatwave will be too much for a bald (once was) ginger to bear!! Long and strong

Hi goldenveg Interesting sums. Just a passing observation: a lot of the newest meterage of drilling that’s been added has been in-fill, which it seems is raising the grade expectations of what we thought was there, and giving better confidence in the accuracy of the model (from inferred, to indicated). only some of the additional drilling has been to push out the boundaries of the known deposit (although this can add large volumes of additional inferred resource). I guess what I’m trying to say is be careful of jumping to too many linear equations - 100%increase in metres drilled equals up to 100% increase in volume of potential deposit being reported, or the deposit’s potential value. It’ll be a decent increase for sure but let’s keep hopes reasonable! As you say you’ll just feed the trolls otherwise...

Infested is what we are! Just remember they wouldn�t bother if SOLG was a genuine dud - they�re here for a reason. All LTHs know the potential upside. My only concern with the low life�s cloggingbthe board is for anyone looking into the share, researching a potential purchase. They�ll need patience and a thick skin to wade through the drivel! It�s a shame, but if investors stick together, try to ignore the parasites, and post a more balanced view, then we will all be richly rewarded. Long and strong!

Ship, the ex Minister set things in motion. Local political situation made it tough for him, he has ideological friction, and he wasn't necessarily consistent in all his views while he was in the position, but he was in place when the move to explore the non-oil resources was made, and when Solg got the original env licence, etc. His view would be likely still v informed, but may be somewhat political. I guess take a judgement...
