The more valuable solg becomes relative to CGP, the more attractive, to more CGP shareholders (increasingly so based on the size of their CGP shareholding) the offer becomes. If solg outruns CGP over the next few months then the offer is tempting.

Jerry, I can’t see how NM couldn’t respond formally, and publicly, given what cornerstone had said in their RBS, particularly regarding rights to BN for example.

If NM believes that CGO lies or misrepresented their claim, that is a big issue and not one you’d leave to linger in an RNS unopposed.

Maybe the style or length of the reply was not to your taste, but as a responsible CEO how could he possibly NOT respond??
