Very useful stuff particularly the detail right at the beginning when the first well WN 1 was stated to have flowed at “4.5 million ‘. I would be surprised if the current well didn’t encounter gas but it is this flow rate that will determine whether the discovery is commercial. A flow rate of 4,5 million is ok (just about commercial)but more would be better.

Yin Yang Equinor can decide to drill a side -track from the current location or drill the current vertical well deeper. However, they cant "drill in another place" as that would require planning and approval, neither of which can happen in the time frame available.

I felt certain we would wake to a RNS of some kind this morning. I suppose the longer it goes on the more likely some kind of further drilling is.

It took Equinor 7 days to announce their decision to drill the discovery side track after the initial exploration well failure in 2017. If they are true to form an announcement of a deeper drill/ side track would be Wednesday this week. Anything is possible!
