I bought at 5.6 this morning...that's was a 5.5% spread from 5.3p when I bought....not that bad. Nice to buy in at a bargain price.

Hoping for 7x this in 2020...equiv of £200m not cap when the NXP002 deal romps home.

On the flip side, you can't claim for capital losses inside an isa.

Given a fair chunk of investors lose money the government wins in that scenario. More lose than win I would suggest.

Low shares in issue, 6% of Cobra, Gold Ridge £20m value, Romanian O&G value TBC...

5p should be achievable in 2020 imo.

Everyone has a slant...shorters, investors...depends on your tkmescale.

Shorters will get burnt when news hits! Just like they will with EUA.

I will wait a few weeks to see if if drops. I don't need the money I have invested so happy to wait a few years for a proper rerate and possible sale.

You can't deny the technology isn't transformational.

I see a positive step with all the great work the team have delivered over the last few years. We ar3 now well positioned to drive turnover and value.

Just wait for news of the new CEO...csnt be that long off now...watch us go back up to the 9's when that happens.

The potential upside is so strong that it's worth the wait. When the Japanese deal comes in (and imo it will) we are looking at a £200m mkt cap.

Would an Aim listed company with lots of money want to buy a company with a full listing? Would they want to put that capital to work? If they have sold the last PGM mine? Buying into MNRG would enable them to diversify from Metals (mining) to energy (oil) with a reverse takeover. Thus using the new name and assets.

They could buy the listing for not a lot of money..Maybe even £5-£10m...a snip if you have sold a business for £xbn.

If both companies shared members of the same bod you could imagine this being possible....

Just imagine EUA decide they want an easy route to a main market listing....there is always the chance!!!

There is also the chance of a reverse takeover which could result in a rerate all on its own...

Our chief exec is likely to get a big payday from EUA so he might get a bit more time to develop little old mnrg....!

I see that as Romgaz wanting to buy 20% of the 50% that Exxon currently own, not 20% of MNRG.

If we get a stake of the remaining 30% and it already flows after Exxon spending lots of wonga then happy days...tick tock....6 days to close a deal...what % are we going for and what's the value???? Not long to wait until we know.

I suspect we won't hear until the Monday following 28th Feb...however we may get an early surprise. Hoping for big news next week on Arizona but if compounded with a deal on Romania I think this could do very well!!!
I bought after the jump from 0.25p to around 0.5p so still a big gain possible.

I think the premace of the Romanian oil and gas concession is that we are funded by a silent partner who doesn't want to be above the parapet...as a result we run and develop it, and take a cut.

Warrants have to be paid for at the exercisable price by the warrant holder.

So, the incentive is we give you a load of warrants. If you make a difference and deliver for us you make a fortune! You need to pay a bit, but if we sell at 80p you make a shed load. Capisch?

If you earn less than the 40% tax rate band, you can use the difference up to the band at the lower rate also.

Winston sold Gold Ridge to MNRG for £750k at 1.75p per share....

2.5p to 5p doesn't seem too far from a sensible value for Gold Ridge alone...

Glad to be in at 0.5p a share...for an asset worth £20m....

It will be interesting to see how this deal breaks. Assuming we own and manage on behalf of a silent investor, I can see this properly rerating. That would mean low risk oil and gas for MNRG, with great turnover and profits...
