A reply I received from my MP. Trolls, rampers, derampers say what you want as I don't give a fcuk. I have sold a lot of my ODX at a loss in the 30p range and put it in a list with the hope of getting my money to break even in the next few months and then I am pulling it all out to buy an Aston Martin DB7.

"I appreciate that this is an uncertain time for staff and shareholders alike. I have asked DHSC about this issue and ensured they are aware of the strength of feeling about the treatment of Omega. The information I have has been provided by them as follows.
As part of an unprecedented response to the global pandemic the Government has drawn on the expertise and resources of a number of public and private sector partners, both here in the UK and internationally. Manufacturers worldwide with tests validated for use in the United Kingdom were invited to make proposals including licencing production and were evaluated on the basis of a range of criteria including cost, performance, location and ability to provide security of supply.
While I am not aware of the specific contractual arrangements between the DHSC and Omega, I am told that the contract agreed was a flexible one with no commitment to volume or value. Further, the equipment loaned is specific mass production technology to allow increased production flyor lateral flow antigen tests. I understand all equipment was loaned under strict contractual arrangements that constrain its use solely for the purpose of Government need in addressing the pandemic and no other use of the equipment is permitted."
