Aerial - you weren't targeted yesterday and your comment about being targeted for ten years is slightly disingenuous.

Your factual posting on here is welcomed by many, including me, but it is the other side to this that annoys me and undoubtedly several others. There are numerous posters who have been specifically targeted on here for speaking their mind over the years, I am just one of the current ones. It's never really changed.

Anything that is considered going against the positivity of our share is jumped upon, people accused of all sorts and a clear agenda is there to undermine them and their posts. Even Sausage is now being accused of not being a holder and he's probably been here longer than just about everyone else.

The name calling, the baiting etc etc - it's not amusing and it's childish and it detracts a lot of the time from having a good debate on where we are as a company. There are also some that simply drop in here to throw a hand grenade in because they think its entertaining. Yesterday evening was yet another example. It all went downhill from about 5.30pm.

There are positives and negatives of every share and perhaps those that are overtly positive about Edl should accept that there are holders, like me, with genuine and factually supported concerns. My posting history demonstrates when my views became more negative - around the time we agreed a CLF against all our assets. And it's since then that I've seemingly become a naysayer and accused of no longer holding. And this seems to be compounded just because I don't want to share my personal information on an open public forum.

Yes, I agree we have great potential here and probably more so than ever in recent years, but there are still some very high risk items bubbling under in the background which we can't ignore. And our current share price reflects that. The market speaks far louder than anyone on here.

small - there was a slight glitch in our chart technicals over the last couple of days and I wondered myself yesterday if the very slight drop, held throughout the day, was a change in course from bullish to bearish.
But today hasn't confirmed that, so I am hoping it's onwards and upwards. GLA

There's nothing wrong with taking profit off any shares and lowering risk.
I have ITV as one of my long term holds, but I have traded it too over the last year or so and have a lot more sitting in my portfolio after buying some decent chunks at sub 60p this year. It's been a bit of a traders dream since April.
Fundamentals are strong and have remained relatively so through an extremely difficult period for most businesses. There are a lot of green shoots of solid recovery here.
A decent Q3 update next month might make things very interesting.

Nation - we do need to agree to disagree.
There's a problem with the CLF - that's what AM is saying. We've interpreted the legal contractual clauses one way and Lind have interpreted it another way.
AM thinks its ok, hence the RNS statement, Lind clearly don't. That's the crux of it.
What AM says in the RNS is irrelevant - it's a contractual dispute and will need resolving.

Nation - I don't care what it says in the RNS - the RNS is not the legal contract.
Contractual disputes come about because one persons interpretation of a clause is different to anothers.
There is clearly an issue.

Nation - "it's within our gift" - nobody knows that. It's a loan secured against our assets via a primary debenture - there's no gifts in it. I doubt there's a clause in there allowing us to fully choose if we pay in shares - that simply doesn't protect the lender enough.
The borrower doesn't call the shots in a CLF - that's the inherent danger.
In my view it's clearly a contractual dispute in the making, because Lind have called in the debt. You can't just do that without good reason. That's the concerning bit and we need AM to get that resolved ASAP.

Crystal - great post especially the last line. And some on here wonder why I changed my tune more or less around the timing of the CLF.

Aerial - they had no choice. You can't keep a potential contractual dispute quiet from the market. That would be suicidal.

Nation - it's not clear to any of us because we don't know all the terms of the CLF.
You don't just call a debt in because you don't like something - ie our offer to pay in shares - This is a contract so will have explicit terms, conditions and exceptions (including what are events of default) that nobody on here has any sight or understanding of.

Its got nothing to do with whats in the RNS. Its about what it explicitly says in the CLF. There is some detail of some of the terms of the CLF in previous RNSs but is a commercially sensitive document, so we don't know what those exact terms, and exceptions, might be.
