You’ve ratified my point by referring to Soco. This is a different company, different situation. Yes there are some connections but that was 20 years ago and just because it happened that way then doesn’t mean it will again. The old saying of “past performance is no indication of future performance”.
I have sold companies having been in “advanced negotiations” for another 9 months before completing so that means nothing to me in regards to timeline. Yes it is positive there is interest I grant you that.
I am a renewables and batteries expert having built and sold many of these assets. I currently work for one of the biggest players in the industry which is a global household name and believe me these things take a huge amount of time to go the modelling, DD, financing and negotiating from the point of a non-binding agreement which we don’t even have yet.
All I want is people to manage their expectations on timelines so they hold their shares which will mean the stock can consolidate to higher levels. This selling out just because it’s not the world most fantastic RNS just puts us in another cycle.
