What I cannot understand is this near cult-like belief in a company like UKOG, which generates nothing but capital depreciation and no income whatsoever. You and your ilk continue to blame the so-called "swampies" for UKOG's ongoing ill's, whereas in truth the problems lie much closer to home. If you think a speculative (and expensive punt) on finding oil in Turkey is going to pull this lot out the hole it has dug for itself you are more deluded than I thought. Just as an aside Turkey is acknowledged to be one of the world leaders in the exploitation and use of geothermal energy, which is a tad ironic don't you think :-)

Could not agree more, this is a pure income play. I am not in this share expecting great capital growth, just steady as she goes.

Unfortunately, Goldman Sach's projection will only apply to companies that actually have a significant amount of oil they need to sell (Shell, BP Chevron etc.), which rather excludes UKOG at the current time does it not?

You obviously have no idea how vaccines work. Two doses spaced out by weeks are required to achieve immunity from Covid19 and the first dose gives little or no protection until at least 21 days has elapsed so “on board” vaccination is clearly a non starter.

"symbolic" being the operative word here as Mr Johnson said the relaxation of measures would be done in "stages" and that the reopening of hospitality was one of the last things to return after the first lockdown. Where do you think being cooped up in a metal tube breathing recirculated air comes along the sliding scale of probabilities for relaxing the lockdown? Just chill and wait for 2022 that is a more realistic timescale for recovery. If you are hanging on for every incremental relaxation creeping toward "normal" flights you are destined to be very disappointed. However, there is one massive bright spot and that is that flying will be back long before cruising, so selling CCL and buying RR might be a good medium term move.

You might think that Ocado are overbought, but the extent of short selling in Ocado does not seem to bear that out at all. Only 0.5% of Ocado stock is on loan to short sellers and reduced yesterday. In contrast 2.2% of shares in Marks & Spencer are currently on loan to the shorters in anticipation of further falls in the SP.

Forget the vaccine it is not going to contribute to the bottom line period. By the time the pandemic is over and AZN could charge a going rate and make a profit the world will be awash with cheap Covid19 vaccines. Just concentrate on the oncology pipeline that is what will really underpin the share price going forward. I have been in this since £25 and seen it all come and go (Pfizer bid etc.). Just a long term hold as far as I am concerned, roll on the Divi in March.

Nothing much to protest about really is there? Give it 5 years and you won't even know there was an attempted oil well on the site and UKOG will be but a distant failed memory. Even Shell are buying electric charging infrastructure in Ubitricity. Unlike UKOG, they have woken up to reality and no longer have their heads firmly in the sand thinking it is still the 1950s.

AZN can only charge a more commercial rate once the pandemic is declared over and although they have signed an MOU with Brazil giving a date of July 2021 for the cutoff in reality this is wildly optimistic and the WHO are unlikely to declare an end to it for 2-3 years. In addition AZN/Oxford received a huge amount of public money ($1 billion from the USA alone) so it would be a PR disaster to ramp the price any time soon. Finally by the time AZN can charge a more commercial rate the world will be awash with rival vaccines and margins will be very very low.

Forget the vaccine it has no value at all to AZN commercially it can only have PR value as it is a not for profit venture. As seen recently the latter is a double edged sword one minute good press the next bad to mixed. Just concentrate on the bottom line which is oncology and where the news is universally good.

Norwegian is selling off its 37 strong fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners. This follows the announcement that the airline will no longer be a long haul carrier. The entire fleet (mean age only 4.6 years) has not flown since march 2020. Norwegian is also suing Boeing for over one billion dollars over the grounding of the 737-Max and engine issues on the 787. Norwegian’s Rolls-Royce Trent 1000-powered 787 aircraft have suffered from long-running reliability issues that have resulted in premature and unplanned maintenance, causing significant losses. The dumping of these 787's onto a depressed post-covid market will have a negative impact on demand for new planes with Boeing sitting on a large number of undelivered 787's. Flight Global reports that the “large number” is 60.

I am middle aged and neither myself, my wife nor anyone else I know shops for clothes in MKS, even for the basics. Our (and their) parents did, but much less so now. So what market are they chasing exactly? Even my mother bemoaned the recent ranges of clothes on offer as MKS chased the youth market, with little or no success. It is a busted flush in the present (and likely future) market. Half the people who do shop for clothes in there will never have heard of or bought anything from Jaeger for a start and Jaeger's past clientele have moved on to Kos, MaxMara and more up-to-date upmarket brands, so where does this tie-up get them exactly?

Which planet do you live on? With this governments record in rolling out measures to control Covid19 (what happened to the "moonshot" track and trace scheme?) I do not see mass vaccination and the reopening of the hospitality sector until May-June, and even that is optimistic. This SP will be covered in little round bruises from all the barge-poles by then. I would not touch it with yours.
