Jaeger purchase smacks of desperation to me. Why attempt to bail out an out of touch failed brand when you are in a similar position to them? The sooner MKS ditch the whole clothing side of the business and concentrate on food the better. Get the Ocado tie up working to maximum advantage and follow the money. The fashion side is dead and mainly dying with its existing OAP customer base and MKS will never be able to compete with ASOS BOOHOO, christ even NEXT is better.

I have significant holdings in BP and RDSB and have held for long enough to make the present SP slump insignificant. What I cannot fathom is the blind faith of the few in a tin pot two bit so called oil company that has failed to deliver value for it’s shareholders over such a sustained period as UKOG. Talk about bad timing or what? As i have said before all the swampy/nimby anti local govt rhetoric in the world is simply displacement activity to mask the failings of corporate governance here.

It doesn’t really matter how many court cases are won or lost or how many planning appeals go one way or the other though does it? The fact is that UKOG is a company that produces very little of a commodity that very few people want but more importantly does not have the financial means to produce it without diluting existing shareholders even more. The death cult continues :-)

I was not amused by anyone's despair but by the displacement activity of blaming either the planning system or protesters for the current state of the company when it is blatantly clear to any sane person that the two are not in any way connected!

I amuses me greatly that punters on here are spending endless hours berating the UK planning system and so called swampies when it is plain for all to see that planning or not UKOG has not got a pot to p**S in money wise! So all that can happen is that when (or if) planning is granted and thus costly action is required or when/if the "thrilling "Turkey prospect hoves into view it simply means more fundraising and further dilution for existing shareholders. Keep up the hot air though, it, and a lot of muddy water, is about all that UKOG can produce at the moment :-)

If you are looking for Brexit to dig UKOG out of the hole of their own making you really are beyond help mate. Write it off man any sane person did 2-3 years ago.

Stay on the BP board where you belong shouting it up to 600p, which is about as likely to happen as AZN is to fall sub £50. These t**ts always turn up when any share suffers a reversal. The Rolls Royce board was full of em a few weeks ago shouting it down to 32p post rights. Where are they now....... on here probably!

Or will Airbus just re-locate its wing building plant to Hamburg post Brexit? It was always a political decision to diversify A320 production across the EU nations. Why continue an inefficient supply chain after Brexit once the political imperative is no longer a factor?

Break even is 120p for me now so no decision required until that point is reached. The vaccine is a game changer for travel looking forward to this summer and beyond. If the AZN vaccine is approved roll out will be much faster than the (more expensive) Pfizer/Modena shot, intrinsically cheaper and also easier to distribute and administer as it does not require transporting and storage at minus 80degC. Win-win as I hold AZN as well.

I see from the RNS of 17th Nov that directors have been awarded options on “growth shares” which can be either taken as shares or cash provided that the SP stands at £3.50 or higher at the end of May 2023. As these targets tend to be conservative, I am taking this as a very positive signal going forward.

For a share that has gained around 25% in a few weeks!

You need to stop looking that the price every 5 minutes and get a life. There does not have to be an underlying reason for every 3p fluctuation in the SP!

I see big oil is having great day with BP and RDSB well up. On the other hand little or no oil continues to languish in the doldrums :-(

Exactly, AZN should never have got carried up on the vaccine hype as the company always stated that it was in this project for purely humanitarian reasons and not for profit. Keep an eye on the oncology pipeline as that is where the income is generated. As far as I can see Soriot has delivered on his promise to transform AZN and eliminate the hangover from patent losses within their drug portfolio. I have been holding since £30 ,so a bit of volatility around £75-85 is not a problem and the dividend is rock solid.
