I think we are arguing the same point. Maybe I didn't explain it very well. Eps is based on net profit not attributable earnings how jubilee report it.

I just don't believe we will make 50 million plus net profit this financial year I believe it will be lower but that is just my opinion and I will be happy if we do. Next financial year will be much better as it will have project Roan ramped up and Elephant hopefully starting its journey.

Not totally pointless but I am happy to look on the conservative side and be wrong and the profits be higher. We shall see not that long to go happy to sit on my shares plenty of upside to come:)

Just looking at last years earnings of 54.4 million and nett profit of 18 million mostly for pgms and chrome. If this years is 65 million just for those alone even allowing for increases in metal prices the nett profit will do well to reach 25 million.
Then it is down to how much copper and cobalt we produce mainly in the last 4 months of the financial year.

I based my nett profit on 20-25 million for chrome and pgms plus a further 10-15 million for copper/cobalt. Happy to be out by 10 or 20 million though.

We won't make 70 to 90 million profit this year and that is what eps is based on.

If we have projected earnings between 70-90 million this year. Expected profit 30- 40 million with 2.2 billion shares in issue eps will be around 1.25-1.75 pe of 10 is 12.75/17.5p. I would prefer it to be on earnings but it doesn't work like that unfortunately.

Thanks Billyboy so another 5.5 million left and another 200 million shares to pay that off. So did we have to convert it or could we have paid it off?

Why pay it off when Bird can issue more shares. I thought they had access to better finance why not use that and pay this off without issuing more shares. That's all Bird knows. Disappointing RNS.

Not impressed yet more dilution. Agree Bird is a liability.
