Clipper gains 3%,win loses 3%
2 Million-extremely high volume off-book at extremely low Prices.Food for thought!
in most other companies Management would buy to Signal that the sp decline is not justified. That last trading Statement doesn't Warrant any Major decline
it really Looks like they want to sell off pullman.I remember that years ago pullman was the jewel in the crown and now it seems to be the Problem child.

can anyone make sense of the unstoppable decline of the sp
good news-bad sp
according to their Website they coped well with huge xmas volumes. This Piece of positive News didn't move the sp but huge volume off-trade.
they should benefit from tax cuts in the us ,yet the sp doesn't move.
HI,thanks for your post which I greatly value as you know.No current Major Problems if I read you correctly.-Pruningthe info on WIN's Website you get the Impression that they have recruited a number of competent directors:a Business optimisation and Transformation director wholeads a Team of over 600 lean Sigma experts responsiblefor Business optimisation, efficency and Innovation.A new CIO for the implementation ofdigitised supply chain programmes.A new fleet Service director at Pullman's.The w2 lab. They also got a number of Awards.Yet I somehow feel we can no longer trust the CEO because shortly after Publishing excellent results he issued a Profit warning mentioning difficulties in the industrial and Transport sector which he must have known about before. Moreover,he sold a large amount of Shares. All this isn't very reassuring. Why is the sp so low?
worrying, very worrying, indeed.A block sale of 1,5 m,off trade, yesterday 150000Bruce,forgive me I've become very suspicious, but you never outed yourself as a staff member in the past.and to put it bluntly I suspect you of wanting to stabilise the sp by pretending to be in the know.None of those who regularlay posted Blogs has been active for months. Were they told to stop posting which would be indicative of a deeper crisis.
I read recently that some logistics companies lose up to 100 Polish drivetrs a month-very worrying, isn't it..I would be very pleased if Moxley, eccles and others could shed some light on this Problem.I don't trust the reassuring message of the CEO
what is the mater with this stock. The divi rises 9%,thesp Drops 10% ,despite a reassuring Outlook,if true.Have those who know the Company from the inside be silenced because they were too communicative? No press Releases either although they presented themselves a few months ago a being in the vanguard of technological Progress and Innovation in the logistics sector.
why then did they have to restructure this sector at a cost of 8million (redundencies-I have alwasy thought that they were desperately looking for staff.I hope they fired the People who deserved it)
who t?normally the Name of buyers of large quantaties of stocks are published but I can't find anything.Does anyone know the legal provisions
I said a few weeks ago that it's a clever and proven strategy to sell a few Shares (unlimited) in a weak market ,the sp plunges and then you buy large volumes off book the Shares Brokers got from discouraged shareholders who do not dare to sell on book for fear of depressing the market even further and for fear of not being able to get rid of all their Shares.Nobody in their right mind should sell in such an environment
I'm surprised to hear that pullman, whichwas a star Performer some years ago,has Problems as they appointed a new director in January, they guy who was credited for having turned the Company around
I've been wondering for some time why some Eurpean countries with limited exposure to the UK haven't approached WIN (Dachser from Germany,Kühne&Nagel from Switzerlan given the weakness of the Pound and the laughable market cap.Win 1800o staff,273m market cap,Clipper 1500 staff perhaps a bit more,396 market cap.Win is hugely diversified with lots of synergiesi.e.Pullman-maintenance of 3500 lorries of the Transport Division.I find it difficult to believe that such acompany shouldN't have a great future be it as part of another Company or as a standalone Company.
ompany beingwhat Moxley and Hozz said recently was quite alarming but I can't imagine the whole Company being in a shambles..246000 off the book Looks like Insider selling which at this Point in time,i.e. a few weeks before the pulication of hallf year results would be tantamount to a Profit warning.
the unstoppable descent of the sp suggests that a widespread unease has gripped the Investor community.the market capitalisation is again below 300m which is ridiculous for a Company of this size.
