I'M about to lose confidence in the Management. Will we ever see a divi?Shocking News.Last autumn they said that they would have to allocate 14m, now it's 15 and next year?Things are going from bad to worse.hopefully, the Company is doing better operationally.
hi, are you sure that the deficit amounts to 300mßI have just reread the last half year Report which said that the deficit was 142m.
last year it was already 150m .It had increased from 120 to 150 and now it has doubled in 12 MONTHS.Difficult to understand, isn't it?
I still have difficulty understanding how the deficit can double in 12 onths. Will it have trebled by next yearß
thanks for this valuable Piece of Information. How come that the deficit doubles over 12 months?could it not possible that the copany puts forth such horrible figures to frighten the pensioners to renounce their advantageous defined benefits scheme?I read in one of their financial reports that a 0,5% increase in the Discount rate leads to a 15m reductiont intheir debts. As a rate increase seems likely in 2015 that would help .the rate increase will only come if the economy iproves.Operationally the Company must already be benefitting from the iproved economic climate.
I Keep buying win at These Levels and I'll Keep them for at least 2 years Baring any unforeseen Events.Fro April 2015 on they will no longer have those onerous leases which cost them between 20 and 25m over 18 months. This will ake a significant difference.ost contributors to this blog have a short term view which to my mind is short-sighted
thanks again.Perhaps it gives you some comfort that your Company will probably have Sound fundamentals in the not so distant future.I am a pretty seasoned Investor and I can assure you that the present sacrifice will pay off
Thanks for your most valuable Information but what is a small lump sum?As far as I know 1700 staff are affected by the Regime Change. What ay be asmall amount for an individual employee may be quite a considerable amount for the Company which would account for the recent weakness of the sp.
as an Insider you must know how the Company fares.Ultimately Business activity will determine the sp.Fundamentally the Company is undervalued (market cap L160 vs STOBL500) and STOB is also sitting on a debt mountain. The Pension fund has always been a liability and I think that the new Arrangement will imo have a positive effect
what's your source of Information?I think it will be rather negative in the short run because they'll have to pay some Kind of compensation/probably quite expensive) but in the medium term it will be very positive. After all the Company wanted to get rid off the costly defined Pension schemes
I'm glad you are back on These Blogs. You may be sure that the whole Population admires the Drivers who do a very risky Job under These horrible circumstances
ust admit that I'M slightly disappointed especially against the Background of ND's excellent resultsö.They highlighted their UK Business and mentioned particularly the FMCG sector which is sadly lagging with WIN.Stobart also spoke of a busy Xmas WIN didn't even mention Xmas.Yet fundamentally the Company is undervalued(market cap L170 vs STOB L490).Last year Cazenove had aprice target of 60 when all the other Analyst had one between 80 and 90.Right now most Analyst expect earnings of slightly above 14p which would give a pe below 10.I hope that the Revision of their Pension liabilities will spring no unpleasant surprise.
ND have just published their results which were excellent thanksto the UK.I hope this is a good omen fo Thursday(trading Statement) ND 9.8%+
in recent years this Business has been a drag on the results.I don't think that Mr wilson will feel like Setting up a Company of his own
does anybody know if the Container Business is finally picking up.They are recruiting Drivers for the Business which might foreshadow an improvement
eric believes in the success of his Company, therefore he is a buyer.
can anyone explain to me why ND experiences strong growth in the uk especially in the retail sector whereas the retail sector has lost ground at WIN.Despite the undeniable Progress which has been achieved since Eric took the top Job some question marks remain
can anyone explain to me why they have an above average tax rate despite the heavy losses of previous years whereas other companies i.e. g4s pay no taxes
Why do win not follow stob's lead?-Zhey will also benefit from the ongoing improvement of the economy.
because fundamentally they are grossly undervalued.I think Eric who is much keener on repairing the Balance sheet than most anglo-saxon ceos (he is swiss) could strike an optimistic note on friday and the the sp would shoot up.If he succeeds, he will soon be offered a more important Job.It would be a great loss for winbut that's the mindset of a relatively Young and ambitious ceo.You must not Forget that he is an olympic bronze medalist (Judo! Barcelona)
