3 or four sells could throw us the other way. D Barron reckons on news, but I think he maybe wrong, I suspect early March. I am down 6% on my entire portfolio last year and I am absolutely blessed its not 25%. If I listened to myself solely and not to others I would be up 25%, PTR is a buy, but it is also a very long termer and that does not suit everyone. also Mgt are very poor at the whole communications game, its an age thing, very old board of directors . here's hoping.

Hi Kev, Ha ha , no worries. My children and I have an identical issue…..the joys of it all. PTR looking very good value. I am invested to the hilt at the moment. I bought a commercial property in December so it has brought an end to my gallop. PTR was one of the shares I did not sell. chat soon.

Ormonde has just secured a Billion Dollar investor that specializes in this area and is renowned as a precious metal investor and is a partner with Aviva for these projects. Tiberius has $2.2 Billion in precise metals and commodities shares Finance is no issue with these people. . It may very well increase its investment here, having bought in at higher SP already. I am not worrying about finance, this company is the choice of the pros. Not just a regular fund but rather specialist commodity fund managers. this is hopefully a new era. GLA

I just checked I am down 35% here and that does hurt. I am holding for the mo, and regret putting in so much. But I think we all have some hopes here. I like Disneyland

You have been a long time critic here…..The company has a torrid past. I am trying to gauge its potential future. Mostly focusing on reserves and the $45m Oil India is investing. Lets take a few positives from this. 1, the oil India investment is in Dollars, and the crash in the ruble is helping the company get more bang for its buck. 2 the Horizontal wells could price very strong indeed 3 the Northern region does offer lots of potential in both reserves and production 4 s a solid infrastructure already in place. 5 the company is debt free unlike many penny stocks 6 it is still producing and generating cash as we speak , …..or course there are downsides…..but its not a penny stock ….yet

its a slow burner here…… praying for a good result. Oil prices not helping.

It is stranfe that the SP rises in Lon and falls in Dublin.seems to happen a lot that both SP move different ways - all balances in the end over time - but odd ATS

The share price is much lower than I would have dreamed of last summer. or nightmares over more like. I think the finance will will found for this and perhaps in the coming months, however I doubt that will alter the then share price, I think that it will lift as the mine comes nearer to production. I also follow Wolf but I prefer this project. I think the share suffers from investor fatigue …..including me. That said, good investing is about patience.

PTR is one of the few AIM Oil companies that is in the black, and it also has lots of proven resources, and it has an excellent well heeled business partner. $100m infrastructure already build, mainly off the back of investors, who have lost most of their money here. I am down but only slightly. When Oil India's¢45 Million is invested here over the next 18 months, there should be an excellent production figure. The wells are profitable here, but also cost a lot to drill, the big hope is in the Hz wells……if this works ….if…….they share will give a decent return. GLA otherwise its a grafter.

closed at 275 last trade at 390. so thats 45% rise But the bid and ask has slipped back since …so 18% is more accurate.

170 BOPD…..very nice, 150 would have been a very acceptable result. pity to see the overall production has slipped back but great to see the H well nearing completion

cheers for that advice….duly noted to you both. I can buy over the phone with Davy but its dearer. a lot dearer…so for now I am happy with my lot here…..I am 33% down mind you….really hoping the wells bring us new investors etc.

many thanks resting pilgrim, I am a newbie at investing and I use Davy Research online, the charge 400 flat for the year and no commission so I like that. problem is they don't show the spread but I use a different screen and get around that. Davy insist you buy in Dublin, even when it can be bought in London for less, I seldom occurs but annoying when it does. Thanks for the recommendation all the same. I eventually got filled on a limit order at 5.1c in Dublin , so thats 4.16 in Sterling …. I have way too many share heres. but at that price I was not going to pass them…Dennis Francis cam tout today and said the currency collapse actually helped us as we bank in dollars and pay in RR. The wells are nearly ready, RNS's on the way, more wells due for completion early next year, seismic graphing, the development well to the north, 1000 H wells on the way. I new plan to use the money from the T-5 H well to fund more wells to the north. we could have or should have 4 new wells pumping oil within a few months , and exciting 1000m H wells following soon. we have a very powerful partner that the Russians won't mess with , we have the infrastructure in place, mother of god how is this at 4p a share….The existing production is worth 3p, so you are paying 1p for the next stage ……which is fully financed to the tune of $45M….this is a really good investment IMHO, I admit I am in heavy here but averaging about 6p a share. fingers crossed….GLA
