i think you meant 500 and even that would be very fortunate. I have no estimate on the Arb wells, but I can estimate that the T5 well will produce 350 a day, but it could be higher or lower by 100 bopd. Thats my estimate. DYOR.

BP up 1.38% today. PTR sells in USD inside the RF. also its not connected with exports so the sanctions don't affect things here. The problem I think is that this license is a tough uphill prospect that is going to take a lot of work to get producing at levels required to make serious money.

I think this is for real, seems sincere, quite simply he/she is saying there is a legal delay due to previous permits, and that stacks up, and that the lawyers are making sure that everything is done to the correct process, and that is very much the Spanish way, they are most correct and proper people, annoyingly so at times, I have pulled my hair out waiting reports, that I was paying for, the Spanish like it done academically perfect. They are more interested in academics and are not so commercially focused. so we just have to accept their ways and wait.

I have been involved with a pretty large building project in Southern Spain about ten years ago, It is true to say that they smoother themselves in regulations and red tape, like no other Euro zone country, and add to that their sleepy civil service that are efficient and highly professional and work at a snails pace. Thankfully the process is at its end and soon things will move here, hopefully before year end.

Don't even mention that …….seeing as they already have in environmental license permit I doubt that this is an issue.

I know In the states the H wells produce 2.5 times more than the V wells , but I am not sure if that accounts for stimulation . The 100bopd was without stimulation . So I think 250 BOPD will be a minimum - it could be much higher of course . Up to 800 ! I

100 bopd unstimulated is reasonable. The H well will at least double that and depending who you talk to multiply it by 3 or 4 times or even greater. PTR chose to apply a multiple of 4. I know from wells in the states, the likelihood is usually 2.5 . so that would be 250bopd. A well of that size will gross $4 million a year, I estimate a profit on that of $1million , Nice work. but lets not forget a 25km ( i think ( long pipeline needs constructing too, It's all a bit of guess work. looking forward to next months results. To be fair while 100bopd is normal , I do the PTR had higher expectations, privately at least. all said the H well, all going fine, will bring production up to a very commercial level. 250 to 350 bopd. and start a programme of several more. On the whole its reasonable news. more to follow.

The production at 250 can by stimulated and that will take it to 350. with added costs too. I see others predicting 4x the 100 bopd with the H well and then stimulation taking it to 500 plus. I hope they are right. However, i research H well and on average the produce 2 to 3 times. But I always say I am far from an expert on this…. so perhaps go with the optimistic view.

the most likely sweet spot would be at the crest, thats where they drilled i think, and the 100 per day may be just under, it could also weaken over the first few months, it usually does, but the H well should double to triple output…… so Topknot is correct , 250 a day plus will be hard pressed to achieve. all said at least its some progress

The net pay of 8.2 meters is not really an issue as the H well travels along the stream rather than straight down. but it could indicate a smaller reservoir, however the real issue i think is the rate of 100bopd, It's a tad weak. yes it can boosted and stimulated etc and the H drill with lift to to 200 to 300. bare in mind there has been a drop off in production elsewhere on the license, I think this is in line with expectations. at the ago the engineers thought this would easily produce 500bopd ( speaking on the sides off the record ). This is going to be lower than that, however there is more options close by. some saying that 100 popd was expected here by the market. hmmm. not so sure. so all in all a 5% lift today is good.
