Sadly there is no mention as to when the socialist Government plans to sell off its majority shareholding in CEZ. Probably never. Comrade Corbyn could learn from this lot. I envisage at least a 51% purchase at a low price by CEZ in the next 2 years. Why wouldn't they as this is a natural resource not to be squandered to "foreign capitalist pigs" and potentially an incentive to get battery and/or vehicle manufacturers to set up factories for cheap Lithium. Income to the State and jobs for the people. A no brainer, especially as they and others will suffer badly once the UK income to the EU dries up.

Methinks a leak of good news

Suspect many investors are put off by the prospect of a huge stake by the Government. A compulsory stake would diminish existing shareholder value considerably. Share price is not relevant to a Government that want a stake in its national infrastructure and a share in future profits. BT share price grew substantially when our Tory Government sold off its remaining 49% some 20 years ago. A Corbynista style Government would never relinquish significant control.

In a socialist republic, surely this is just the start. Unless someone can tell me they have info that the CZ's have turned their backs on State control.

As I see it, that bunch of cloning low life thieves have stolen value from the shareholders. Were a smart lawyer to open a class action, I would certainly join in.
