Any takers on the bet that the last 2 days gold slide will drop to its recent favoured price of around £1700 - $1800. The doomsday quarterly economic news in now looks to be post September and then post January. By the Spring gold will be around $3000 - $4000 is the other bet.

VHCP are waiting and slowly increasing their holding for a slice of the inevitable action. Not sure they would want to acquire Synairgen but for that to be even a possibility they would need a huge slice of share ownership and I cannot see that many shares being available. More than likely that Synairgen would be sold to a big Pharma and for it to remain a subsidiary in Southampton with license fees so that the current Directors and staff can" independently" continue their wider research programme.

SYN clearly need a large take up from the Stage 2 target population to confirm if not better its Stage 1 trial results. And that requires a continuing increase in serious covid cases. By now I would have expected they are working with hospitals across the globe.
