Hello. Same thing different way of saying it lol. Don't think any domestic household runs a boiler 24 hours a day 365 days of the year. Things like washing machines dishwashers etc run off cold water and heat as they wash. So potentially the boiler is normally used for heating or bathing. Now bearing in mind industrial units already have boilers in place the in spirit boiler would have to rely on new build or replacement I can't honestly see companies ripping out exsisting boilers to put in a more expensive boiler even if they can prove it gives them a payback period. As I said earlier I've followed this and Flow for many years and both are struggling to come up with a competitive boiler that actually works.

People keep going on about it producing electricity. The problem is no one at this moment in time how much extra gas useage it will take to produce sufficient electric in order to pay its way. It's already been highlighted that the heat output is less than a conventional boiler. Therefore it's going to consume more gas in order to achieve the same amount of hot water. Until insp carry out worthwhile trials in a typical working environment they can't really say what the payback period would be. My car supposed to do 115mpg. It doesn't because the figures quoted are based on ideal conditions.

Lol have been posting on here for the past 4 years how long you been in insp half a day and no doubt got caught on the spike.

Have you seen the size for a start nearly twice the size of a normal domestic boiler and weight. How much gas does the household have to use before it becomes economical. There's more to it than just saying it has a short payback period. Payback of what the difference between a normal boiler and insp boiler. Can you buy 2 boilers for the price of 1 insp boiler.

The assumptions by the company are on a boiler that hasn't actually been trailed in the open market. The true cost of the boiler has not been published only figures based on what they had budgeted.

Problem here and Flow is the amount of time the boilers have to run to justify the costs. Practically have to run 24 hours a day to get a return on investment. They were supposed to be doing trial in care homes not sure they ever took place let alone cost effective. FITS are slowly evaporating however the bigger boilers are not eligible.

He used to be a director. The technology has been around for donkeys years. My advice would be to do more research first you got plenty of time in fact at least a couple more years lol
