Funny how different people interpret things in different ways Thordon. I took the new routes reference to mean paints, plastics, etc. Hadn’t even thought of it your way, but it does make sense.
Whichever way it goes, there are certainly interesting times ahead :)

So yesterday all seems to have been done to allow a new institutional investor, who is more than happy to buy 7 million shares at 12.1p. IP group also bought a couple of million, which is encouraging for them to up their stake too. As we have so few shares floating around, these small fundraises are going to be the only way that institutions are going to be able to buy large amounts, which is fine by me. This is what I think John is keeping further options for in the future, as how else are institutions going to be able to build a big position when we can’t buy a few grands worth most days? “The Company may in due course raise further equity funding utilising the remaining balance of the shareholder authorities granted to the Directors at the Company's 2020 AGM”
Hope the money is used this time round to expand :)

I also tend to agree with gently applying the brakes. Pretty much agree with everything in elsol’s last post, but I do agree Thordon that five months is an unusual time to update. Two things that stood out for me in the RNS were the comments about at least three new detergents by the end of the year. Three! As detergents are the biggest overall revenue source currently, then that’s serious. I sincerely hope these three detergents are with big companies and the wording suggests there may be more.
The second standout point was the little snippet at the end regarding “positioning Itaconix for new routes to broader revenue horizons in the emerging low-carbon economy." Sounds like the paints/plastics markets that John was speaking about breaking into recently.

Well, Cardiff, Scotland and West Wales were all lovely and it’s great to be able to go out properly again. Somewhere in England will be next. Not being able to go abroad will certainly help our economy in the short term, but I know that you’re keeping a keen eye on inflation. Wonder how Rightback is doing with the scaffolding boards situation...we will all be fighting over a shortage of garden furniture next, apparently!

I’ve been looking since you said, Thordon. Haven’t found anything yet. I think sales began in February, so hopefully we will see the evidence in products soon :)

They do seem to keep a lot of things quiet, seemingly for the sake of a competitive edge for the customer. Awesome find by Thordon. Love everyone’s helpful contributions on this bb and over on ADVFN

As a side note, I’m sure I saw something when researching the other night about nouryon possibly selling one of the itaconix polymers for paints (or something in that area), but wasn’t able to access anything further on that. Will keep looking.

Completely agree AJP. I added a small top up yesterday, Immediately after the news. Mainly because to me, this means that the sp could start creeping up in a sustained manner as funds start adding, with us now being on their radar. Interestingly, I currently cannot get a quote to buy even a small amount
