Nice to see bid price creeping up. Looks like I missed a 100k buy on ISDX yesterday after close. Summer months are normally quiet. Good to see large buys and small sells.

I was thinking of posting about that. The 250k trade was a big trade. That 525k trade has mostly been taken out by buys now. Things are looking very positive. Bring on winter.

After that huge sell trade on Monday it seemed like everyone waited to see what would happen. No RNS came. We got a net trade figure of -22190 shares yesterday (Including ISDX). Today we got -20702 shares. Not helped by 2 late sells for 50k on here and 100k (ISDX.) The 100k trade was at 9p. Yet the overall price seems to be edging up here. Which makes me think larger buyers are in the back ground waiting to soak up morestock here. Not sure why the SP did not go down further after the 2 late trades. Are the MM still happy to build up stock here? Or do they have buyers in waiting? I think they must know if they lower the price too much they will quickly run out of stock. It's nice to see strong demand above 9p. Still confident of where this share price is going. All the indicators are very positive.

I forgot how positive DW was in that video. The 2 new acquisitions carrying over 1 million profit not seen in the results. The 2 new firms moving into our new HQ actually now paying lower rent than before. It really makes you think just how different the 2014 results would have been if PPS and Publicasity were included. If you think a lot of those purchase were done with money raised at 13p and the fact they carried over £2m cash reserves it makes them look just that much more of a bargain at current prices. You think they suggested near 0.7M operating profit. This excluded the 1M from PPS and Publicasity. If you assume a starting base of 1.7M then you really do have a start base to build 2-3M profit this year. Especially when you think there were close to £1M in one offs. Not even sure if this includes the rent the firms were previously paying. Plus the half full HQ we were also paying for last year. Do the numbers here and research on the firm and ask is 9p really the true value of PTCM? Thanks for reposting that video Adastra. I needed cheering up.

I think Monday will be interesting. Will we see an RNS with a director buy to match the 525k trade? Been very few high value trades that have not been matched by the directors lately. Can you blame the directors for buying? The underlying figures for this company appear to be improving year on year. The new purchases are fitting in well and all parts of the business seem to be expanding with new staff being taken on. It seems to me like this is a busineess that will quickly turn into a very profitable one as one off costs dissapear, the new start ups mature and they start cross selling products globally. You only have to look at the lasr RNS-r and the comments by DW. 'David Wright, Chief Executive of Porta Communications, said "This appointment is further evidence of the demand for an integrated multi-service, multi-product communications offering."' If Porta are truly selling this idea to current clients and they become a one stop shop for global services to large firms then you can quickly see a few contracts globally lining the pockets of Porta. Once a firm is locked into a deal across several countries it become harder for them to retender to local firms in each country. On top of this we had a really positive AGM TS. I think it has been a hard year for the SP but this is mainly due to a number of large/small investors wanting out. What is convincing is all the directors close to this company are buying in. I am pretty sure they are not doing this to protect the SP. They all know how well the firm is doing. You dont invest 50-500k in a share without doing some research or knowing how well the firm is doing. Of course we can only see the directors buys. Makes you wonder if staff are also buying in here. All of the above is why I think this share will quickly move from 9-10P+. I don't think the 525k trade will impact the share greatly on Monday as I think this is already factored into the price. Hence the upward pressure in the share price lately as free stock is snapped up. Exciting times to buy into this share.

It's been an odd day of trading. Starting day with ask price of 10p and bid price of 9p based on 1 late 100k trade day before and an RNS. If this 525k trade was a persisant seller from last week or so maybe this is a good thing? Clearing position maybe? I would rather see sellers clear stock now. On positive side. There is strong demand above 9p here. (Last Director at 9.1p) If shares dip below 9p I think stock would be soaked up pretty quickly. Hence buys at 9.2p near end of day. If 525k shares had been bought pretty sure share would of gone above 10p due to lack of free float. The pressure has definately been upwards lately. Pretty sure this large trade caused share to go down 1.35%. However I count over 120k share bought on ISDX today. All the trades on ISDX today were buys. I really don't see it impacting the shares hugely. It could open door to another director buy if more stock becomes available. Still waiting for finance director to jump in here. Only director to not have bought in here. I would expect some big trades in next few weeks as buyers come in and people wanting out sell if they need the money.

I take back my comment about RNS. The share has spiked on the news. Is that 9.6p trade really a sell? If someone can post full RNS that would be good as it did have comments from DW. I agree with Adastra. This share has been badly under valued here. As the figures turn black the market will soo take notice. When will the broker rate tthis share at it's true worth?

They have announced the 2sister food client win by RNS.

Although share has stagnated around 9p this week the pattern of trades is very positive. As Adastra suggests small sells with bigger buys coming in. The sell price today kept creeping up suggesting the MM want more stock. Whilst the buy price remained stubbornly high. We are seeing strong support at the 9p level which is very encouraging. If we do still have a seller here they are struggling to force the price down. They may even be selling against the market. Next 2-3 months should really be telling for this share. Even at 9-9.5p this seems a good buying chance. I still feel this share has been over sold over last year. Management really do seem to be turning this round into a profitable growth stock. It will only take a day of 2-3 large buy trades to force this share up 0.5-1p higher. Very exciting times.

Regarding IC a friend of mine just got this response from them. Investors Chronicle is a magazine Porta may never fully get a review in (Under 25M? Not sure on their policy) The one column where they do mention Porta this week is in the directors buy column. Although I am yet to see them actually comment on the share. I do check the magazine each week. I have also heard that Porta was in a top 10 shares to watch in a magazine/website over last few months. I do currently not know which magazine or website this was. I think Share magazine will continue to comment on this share now. So far they have given buy ratings at 7/8p. I suspect they would do so at 9p too given broker price and TS in June.

I know I have always suggested a big seller. Maybe this isn't the case now? What we are seeing now is very large share movements based on low volumes. Today volumes of 350k buys including ISDX trades (150k in total) initially caused an 11% surge in share. We than get 3 sell trades worth 115k overall and the share drops 5-6%. Before when we had the large overhang we could see 1-2M shares traded with the price barely shifting. Where if you look at the surge before the TS the share rose almost 50% on reasonable volumes. Somewhat helped by BM's trades. It seems some are selling at peaks hoping to buy back in at 8p level. Risky game given shares current yoyo like pricing. The big downside here is also the large difference between bid and ask price on AIM shares. You lose almost 0.5p doing this. Some who bought in at 6-7p may also see 8.75-9.4 as a good sell price. We are in a new trading range now. It may also be the case the reason for the large movement is the MM have no large cache of stock. So a large buy forces them to raise price to maintain their stock. Where if you have a large seller you keep price low to encourage buyers. So how can you tell if we have small investors taking profit or a larger investor just selling 30-100k a day. (Or both.) Also consider how many small investors really ahve 3-6M shares. In any case if the half year results show anything close to 1-1.5M profit the share would have to rise above it's current price. Also if the MM have little stock then this would slow any director buys of 1-2M shares. In fact such a trade at present would cause a large surge in the current SP. I do think 8.5p-10p could be new trading range short term. Interesting times.

I think we are coming to point where normal traders are not taking profit. Been almost 16 straight sells on here. Summer months are normally quite weak as traders go on holiday. Am I right in thinking soon the directors will be locked out due to a closed period of 2 months before half year results? Last years half year results were on 16/09/2014. Expect a similar date this year. Gives them 2 weeks left to make any final purchases. Unlikely but worth thinking about.

Firstly the director buy on 25th. I never saw the trade for 1M shares. Which makes me wonder if it could of been the daily large 250k-400k buy trades we got before the results? Then an announcement on day TS came out. This would also explain why these large buys suddenly stopped. Unless the buyer had filled his boots already. A large trade at end of pla should of spiked price. I also wonder if these daily 30k sells are still a big seller. I still find the trade patterns on PTCM to be very unusual. Almost daily volumes of 300-400k. Not really sure the Greek problems really had anything to do with todays trades. My final worry is the only people buying here in large volumes seem to be the director. We get a really positive AGM and it has barely influenced share. Albeit the market appeared to rerare share before the AGM. Perhaps due to BM removing 8.3M shares from market. I guess some sells are just profit taking. I do hope soon the market reacts to the good news whiching is likely coming in September. Hopefully a 1-2M profit purely based on cash figures.

Could be large sell order going through (delayed). Wouldn't suprise me as all markets across the world are in turmoil. Plus someone previous selling clearing remaining stock. Hard to believe the share dropping 7.69% on 140k volumes. (Incl ISDX.) I certainly expect this share to be at 14-15p at least by year end if the numbers promised at AGM are as good as suggested.

I could find no video from DW yesterday. Clearly feels no need to tell people how well firm is doing. I think Sanlam may wait a month before doing the rerate. Porta love to stagger good news.

I am mobile so my messages are not perfect. Biggest issue we face now is broker rating. Why would anyone pay above the 11p broker rating. It's positive that ebidta for first 6 months is much higher than 2.2 million. Remember that figure last year included the rogue 475k figure. Maybe we could see 5-7m ebidta for year. With maybe profits around 3m. That would be amazing. September should give us a good boost. A lot of my friends still think this share could be 20p by end of year. Maybe even £1 in a few years. Very positive few weeks.
