Remember these are seasoned execs and they have already identified 1m cost savings. If they can reduce finance costs, D&A and then they get investment from the presentation on 22nd then things could quickly change for the better. At 7-8p this share was badly undervalued. Even at 7p I think there is still a decent upside here. There is no point panic selling because of one trading day. Some of the results did hold good news so that is a positive. I do like this approach of going for the larger clients. I accept Porta has some PR work to do for it's shareholders about the financial numbers and when we can all expect a return on our monies. It is certainly taking 1-2 years longer than most expected for this to become a multi million pound profit making company. Will we see a white knight come in here to inject money and take over Porta? Not so sure if they are losing money. You never know.

This could be the new trading norm. Apparently a broker report came out yesterday downgrading this years profits from 200k to a loss of nearly 765k. On that basis it's not great news. Sanlam seem dissapointed with the results. Overall Porta needs to show it can turn a profit. They took on 2-3 firms hiding a profit of 1M and they are still losing 1.5M in 6 months. Hopefully second half of year will bring some better news, Right now 6-8p could be the norm. There is a danger Porta could lose the markets trust here if they can't be shown to be diligent in the way they run the firm. They need to bring confidence back to the share holders. The delays turning this firm to a profit is frustrating for many. The debt, depreciation and amorisation don't seem to be helping here and are big reaons they are not making money in my view. Lower costs are needed here. 1M saving this year may help balance books in 2016. Hmmm.

So to get to 828k figure they have essentially taken the loss figure of 548k and added back the Amorisation and depreciation to get 828k. Of course that -546k then goes into the profit and loss accounts. The 1.3M Headline ebidta seems to include various one off costs that they have added back to the ebidta. Hence 1.33M. The big query comes from the profit and loss that includes 593k finance costs which I suspect is the 2 large 13% loans they have. Add on the loss of 548k. Add on tax credit and charges and you soon reach the 1.537M loss. The question is, is this mainly due to the Amorisation and depreciation charges? If so the results are not as nearly bad as they seem. With a further 1M cost savings they can only get better?? I'll see if I can get a friend to point me in to how to understand the accounts and if most of this loss is due to what I suspect above.

Interesting video. I think they would also consider more acquisitions if right opportunity came along. Overall they seem to be focusing on the right things. Obviously he was very happy the firm is now cash generative. Which can only really be good.

Has anyone got their heads around the Amoristaion and depreciations they added back to get the Ebidta of 828k? Also the profit and loss shows a loss of 1.5M. This apparently included a 600k finance cost? What was this? Overall I am trying to figure out if this loss is purely down to the Amorisation and depreciation charges. Porta releasing simple figures??? It was never going to happen. I may get some of my accountant friends to work out the figures. Overall I still think this firm should be worth closer to 30M. Especially if they build on the 6M results. Looking forward to 2nd half of year.

Could still be a seller out there. Suspect quite a few delayed trades. Overall net cash flow of 0.7m can only be good news. The bad news is they have closed more offices. Nice to see them focusing on the big fish. I think this will quickly bounce back.

Adastra has suggested 1M Ebitda after all costs for first 6 months. Last years they posted around 1M editda but this included a 475k revaluation of Redleaf. Also the headline EBITDA excluded a string of one off costs. So we may get a 1M Ebitda but the result will hopefully show a healthy profit closer to 0.6-1M in my opinion. Which would not be suprising given PPS and publicasity were hiding a 1M profit between them last year. There are so many costs here falling away so the bottom line must be much healthier. Of course last years 6 month figures included TTMV. Would it be realistic to expect revenues of about 16Million for first 6 months? Hard to judge the new firms revenue. The unknown is additional TTMV costs. See what Tuesday brings. Any sizeable profit that has no caveats is likely to be good news.

@ Df1976. I think any share at present has it's risks. Look at the Supermarkets/Oil sector. I think one of Porta's big issue is the large amount of small/medium investors compared to other firms. Sure someone/other investors have been selling here. Yet it's not clear on what data they would sell? The last TS was very upbeat. From the outside if you go by Gorkana it looks like the client numbers is falling. Yet we don't know the true details. Newsgate is one Brand here. How many of the Clients have Redleaf taken on instead? Are some of the newer clients bigger? Are they on higher margin? Is the cross selling of products increasing profitability. It's too soon to judge. If Porta announce a 500k-1m profit for first 6 months I would take that as good news. Adastra is someone who is very positive and I won't knock that. His view is not gospel and I welcome all opinions. Compared to other shares this board is much more informative. I think wait for Tuesday and see what the results are. We may yet be suprised. If you are losing faith in the AIm market then don't invest in this part. I don't think all AIm shares are blighted like this one. I anticipate some directors will buy in after the results. So room for a large upside here. Especially if they announce a big profit.

Any idea what the current buy and sell price is? I agree all looks good for 22nd. Hopefully a positive trading update in a month's time too. One option for an institution is for them to buy a stake by way of cash injection mixed with x amount of shares. Of course 10p would be minimum level. How much room is left at Porta's hq? Do we have any idea on exact figures for 22nd? You suggested 1m ebitda? So 800k profit at best? Unless ttmv will have an impact?

I am a private investor. I doubt they would get nearly enough funds from me. I do think it is just a slide show to show how well the firm is doing. We have had no cash call all year. Which in my view means positive cash flow. Adastra attended the AGM. I wonder if he will go? Not sure if the directors are leading the presentation. I suspect the directors will all buy in to support presentation. See what happens.

Welcome to the rollercoaster of Porta. I am expecting good news on 22nd. Lots of costs falling away and new contracts on higher margins. Any profit close to 1m would be very welcome. See how share reacts in next 10 days. Seems to be a lot of nervous investors looking for some news after a weak summer. What encourages me is Porta has not made any panic statements. Stuck to their guns. 22nd will give investors a chance to see what the real value of this share is. Redleaf is certainly a rising cash cow for the future. Lets see how the big picture comes together. Exciting times for porta.

It looks like other firms do these analyst presentation days.Maybe this is Porta starting to do all the things that the big firms do. They should be very good at presentations being a PR firm. Slow reaction to the RNS today. Looks like to break the 7.4 barrier we will need some much bigger buys. 80k buy on ISDX. Overall looking forward to the results. About time we had some profitable news.

Just compared it to last years and there was no analyst presentation! I wonder if this means we can expect some good news???

I wonder if the results will be delayed to end of month to clear the seller. It does appear 2 parties are pretty much trading shares as they have done for last 4-5 weeks. That or results will come out next wed/Thursday. we may not get an RNS giving us a date. I don't know how much more complicated the figures wil be given the larger company and the closing of TTMV. An RNS either way would be welcome next week.

Not seen one for a few weeks. Looks like a seller is back again today. 350k shares sold today. So 490k sold this week. One of those 150k trades looked to be a buy. Come on results!!!

Very frustrating that we don't have a date for the results. Could be a director is still on holiday? Could be the results will come a week later? I suspect 16th September too as this is date they came out last year. We still have an over hang from a seller here. Hence the drifting price on Friday. The ask price is only 0.10 below the last few purchases on Friday. What is strange is that we had someone buying in weekly at 8-10p in large volumes. Price drifts to 7.5p and they stop. Albeit a 50k buy trade has just shown up today.

I think Df1976 is not frustrated at you Adastra. You are merely stating the facts that the market is aware of. DF1976 is probably more upset that the share price has not responded to some of the good news. This is more likely due to a large sellers dumping 4M+ shares. Even today with 3 buys? the buy price has drifted lower. Which suggest a large overhang still. Hopefully September's figures will bring a bit of market cheer. From what you have suggested we can expect at best a £1M Ebidta in 1-2 weeks time. Hopefully this will translate into a 0.5-1M+ profit. The question for investors is do you believe what the PR company is telling you? They are very good at PR and that has it's dangers. I personally think the company is turning a corner and will soon be operating with a heathy profit. The firms bought over last year or so seem to be flourising. Wait and see for now. That is what most people seem to be doing now. Hence low volumes. End of Summer too.
