I admire your certainty Qs, even though it is based on nothing but blind optimism. Until we know what is in the rns it is impossible to know the effect on the sp. As I have said before, I would give it maybe 5 to 10 % chance of getting there in one hit. Atb.

Can't answer that question Yuri. No way of knowing what will happen. Might not (probably wont) go high enough to get out. It might get part of the way there and I get out with a smaller loss. It might by some miracle go sailing past my break even, and depending on the future prospects, cause me to hang on for the longer term, or retain part of my holding as free shares, as qs hopes to do. Or I could sell out and hope to buy back later at a lower price. I strongly suspect the rns, when it drops will have insufficient information to make a fully informed decision.

Yuri. From what I have read, there were geological problems. The rocks in Cambay were of a more elastic nature, rather than the more brittle ones in North America, where fracking has been so successful. This means they are difficult to fracture and is what the techniques suggested by the independent study hope to redress. The truth is nobody knows whether it will work until they try. Of course Joe is going to sound confident, he could hardly do anything else. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed. I'm glad you said that Callum. A fair while ago I said that an awful lot depended on how much gspc got for their share as that put a value on Oilex's share. That in turn will affect Oilex's ability to raise cash, maybe by farming out a %. There were those on here who said it didn't matter how much it went for as long as they got rid of gspc but to me it is crucial. Especially, if there is little or nothing from the cash calls. I also speculated that perhaps we might not know how much gspc's share went for, but got no response. I guess we won't be any the wiser until we are told exactly how Oilex are going to move forward with raising cash G or drilling. If they ever get that far. Virtually every rns says something like "subject to finance." Atb.

Yes Callum but you are in a different situation to myself. I thought Oilex was undervalued 6 years ago at 2.5 p. You are a relative newcomer at looking at from a different angle at a lower average. I now only have one other holding and that is on the major markets. That is Lloyds and is also an effing disaster.
