The price to buy has actually gone up over the last few weeks from 0.065 to 0.076 Bryn, about 15%. Nobody knows why. Personally, as you will have noticed if you have been following the board, I am very pessimistic about it ever getting back to my average of 0. 325. However at current prices and purely as a punt, I think any sort of positive news on the gspc sale could see a spike into the mid 0.1s. Depending on the exact news, I suppose it could do better. As I say, it's a gamble that could pay off or go t**s up. Gla

Looked at Oilex on Yahoo finance and came across this article which is utter drivel. A reminder, if ever there was one, not to believe opinion pieces on Aim shares.

That price is high compared with earlier this year but not great if you go further back. Might actually be relevant if there was any prospect of Oilex producing anything imminently.

VF. There have been buys. Its just this ridiculous site (or is it information direct from the stock exchange?) that make it appear otherwise. About two weeks ago, for no apparent reason, they raised the ask from 0.07 to 0.08, whilst the bid remained at 0.065. This meant that the mid point, ie the notional share price, went up from 0.0675 to 0.0725. Trades are classified as buys if they are above this mid point and sells if below.
I have done several dummy trades over the last two weeks and it has consistently been about 0.068 or above to buy and about 0.065 to sell but since these are all below 0.0725 they all come out as sells. If you look at the trades, you can assume all those at 0.068 and above are buys.
Incidentally, this also means the true spread is much lower than it seems at about 5%. Atb.

Even though your opinion of Oilex had changed for the worse, only a couple of days before you were still trying to get me to join your group and even talking of get togethers. Thought perhaps you had had a tip off of an impending disaster, but it would seem not. Atb.

As regards dilution, who in their right minds wouldn't despise it? Maybe you would, if like me you had suffered dilution by a factor of six since first buying Oilex. If I had a house or yacht, I certainly wouldn't risk it on a company like Oilex. Please stop being ridiculous.

Qs. Why on earth would the fact that some of us find the lack of Oilex News as boring as hell mean that they are always bored and boring themselves. Very strange conclusion.
