Yes Ssccss. He did say that. However, I wouldnt regard the actual rate as disappointing. The only thing that really matters is the rate after refrac. Thd current flow just provides some useful cash in the interim.

Yes Espen. I assume the disparity is due to there only being two refrac zones for the refrac, presumably to save cash. Guess there must be more zones planned for the new wells hence the much higher rates. Atb

Espen. It's actually much better than that from a successful refrac and new wells. It's not multiples of the current flow rates they are talking about but the original rate of 1mmscfd. They have said they are hoping for about 2 mmscfd from the refrac and 4 to 5 mmscfd from the new wells.

Tbh, I wish I had never commented on this pointless debate, as to PI's the price doesn't matter a monkeys only the amount of dilution.

Vf. I've never played this. Wouldn't know how. I've only ever sold once and bought twice. Bought originally 2015 at 2.5p, averaged down to 0.32 by 2019. Sold in April last year for 0.407. Bought back in a few months later at 0.22. Really wish I had sold at 0.3 would have bought back at 0.2, but I was greedy, hoping fir more than 0.3.
As you say, not a competition, both " sides" were opinion and neither were wholly right.
As I said before it's the amount of dilution thats the important thing and provided this is the end of it, 14% aint too bad.

glactico. I was never calling for 0.16, although I did give around that as an example taking 0.2 as a baseline and assuming the normal pattern was followed. I am pleased it is actually 0.20 as that means less dilution for the same amount of cash. At 14 % the dilution is a bit more than we were hoping for but not too bad.
When one camp wad expecting 0.23 and another 0.16 /0.18, it seems reasonable to call it a draw. Not that we should really be in competition with one another. Gla.

Jasper. Of course I can do the maths, but 2.5% is to all intents and purposes a draw. Neither camp really got it right. If it had been 0.19, 2.5 % down, I would still have called it a draw.

Looks like s draw to me. Neither a discount or a premium. So let's just draw a veil over all the aggro and move on.

As far as I can see, the only possible way the raise can be at a premium to the current price of 0.20, is if they first rns some really good news such as excellent flow rates. If that raised the sp to say 0.28, the raise might be at around 0.23. In the absence of something like that I don't see how it's possible.

What seems embarrassing to me, is all this talk of gangs and crews. What is this a discussion board or the bloody Beano?

" The targeted new initial production rate from the two new re-frac zones is 2 mmsfd. A successful re-frac operation will enable the initiation of the full Cambay field development with two new horizontal and fracced wells planned for end of 2022 / Q1 2023, subject to funding. Oilex's project studies and experience from other stimulation projects result in an expectation of initial production rates of 4-5 mmscfd for new horizontal wells which will provide robust economics. "

Conger. They have said previously (can't remember where ) that they expect 2 mmscfd from the two refrac zones but also that they expect 3 to 5 mmscfd from the new wells. Presumably, means the new wells have more refrac zones but they are only doing two on the refrac to save cash. Atb.
