Eagle. That's exactly what I thought, until that Tweet. I suppose the cynical ( me, never!) might say that it means nothing if it's not in an rns. Or it could be argued that the Tweet means that in Roland's opinion the pump issue shouldn't affect the jv. Guess we'll find out at some point.

Infor. Nor sure what you mean about the incentive scheme being achievable. They are already achieved, being awarded for last year's performance. They are exercisable any time in the next five years. They are free shares.

That beadle is the crux of the matter. We all hope potential jv's will see the potential value as Roland does. Until the rns drops nothing is 100 % certain. C'mon Roland put us out of our misery! Gla.

Yes, just looked it up. It is 30%. The minority are only forced to sell at 90%. Not sure a takeover is likely. Just be nice to get some news.

They, or anyone else, could only buy us by buying shares on the open market, which would drive the price up. Once they get to a certain percentage, I think they have to make a formal offer for the rest.

Actually, I was only half joking. The sp after the jv rns drops will be very largely determined by the terms of the deal. We know Roland is aiming for a free carry for the first two wells, hopefully there might be some cash as well.

Asimpleinvestor. Yes have to agree with that. Not big enough and certainly not safe enough for a pension fund. There are of course plenty of investment comoanies who are not so risk averse. Republic is one of them. Guess Roland will have some in mind.
Personally, I think it's the market cap rather than the actual share price that determines how easy it is to raise cash. Just because a company had a consolidation before a raise doesn't show cause and effect. Would very likely have happened anyway. After all, a low sp hasn't made Oex/Syn shy about raising. In the 8 years I have been here that have raised in excess of 20 times and the number of shares has increased 12 fold. In the last 2 years alone, the number has almost doubled. Anyway, hopefully we have seen the last of raises if the jv comes through soon enough.

Thanks Espen. That's what I was hoping to hear. Not sure why consolidation makes a difference other than making the numbers more manageable. An investment of enough for a TR-1, say 250 million shares at 0.1p, costing £250k with a consolidation of 100 to 1, becomes 2.5 milion at 10p, and still costs £250k. Atb.

I've never tried to speak to him on the phone DP. Must say I was surprised the few times that I emailed he replied fairly promptly, even to follow up questions. As for leaving him to do his job, fair enough, but I guess it is up to him whether he replies and in how much detail. As long as he is not pestered too much.

Yes, I can confirm that Roland is helpful when you email him. He obviously, won't say anything not in an rns but he does sometimes elaborate or clarify. For example when he said that he was hoping that the farm-out price for 50% would be a free carry for the first two wells.

Eagle. It is the Medway hub in Kent where Syn plan to collect the CO2. They will then use a ship to deposit it in one of the North Sea locations.
