No idea Jack but I am really shocked that they may give up on being the operator. Last thing any of us expected. I guess it might make the price or number of wells as a free carry higher. As someone else suggested they well divest the other 49% at some point.

Jack. Just because the jv may have 51% doesn't mean they will be the operator. Gspc had 55% and Oilex were still the operator. It would however give them greater control over operating decisions. Atb.

Yes sausage. I've always thought the exact wording was carefully chosen and open to interpretation.
"The farm out decision is not contingent on the C-77H pump installation – jet pumps are proven technology on thousands of wells."
That could mean exactly what it says, that potential farmees are confident that the new pump will do the job and condensate won't be an issue on the new wells.
Or it could be that it is just Syn's opinion that it shouldn't be an issue and anyone who disagrees doesn't fully understand the situation. There's obviously no way of knowing the position of the potential jv's but the longer this goes on the more concerning it is. No doubt if the jv doesn't come until after the pump is proven they won't admit the delay was anything to do with the pump.
This reminds me of a situation many years ago when the company I worked for was about to be taken over and rumours of redundancies were rife. At a staff meeting, I asked whether there were going to be redundancies. The boss paused, chose his words carefully and said " You can take it from me, there will be no redundancies as a result of the takeover". We immediately knew there would be redundancies anf the management would claim they were nothing to do with the takeover. The notices went out within days.
I am still hopeful that a great rns could drop any day but this interminable delay certainly makes one think. Gla.

Espen. Agree, that it's a positive to raise their profile with the regulatory body in India. The last thing we need is for GOI approval for the new jv to drag on as long as last time. Just as long as it doesn't burn too much cash.

I would think any progress on the Cambay CCS is even further distant than in the UK. They don't even have a regulatory framework yet.
As for the uk, a concern is that they get a license and then raise to finance it's progress.

At the very least the new pump should reduce the monthly cash burn.
Roland owes it to long suffering shareholders to get some good news out there. Everything hinges on a good jv deal.
