Yes it is, and I think we should believe Roland that it will take 3 to 6 months. After all, it took about 10 months to approve the transfer from gspc to Syn.

Roland has said that he expects approval to take 3 to 6 months but it is a formality and wont effect preparations.

Boo. When Syn bought gspc's 55% of Cambay they also took over their share of the loss pool yo that date. The combined loss pool was $125 million and will be a few million more by now.

Of course there is no question of the jv paying anything like that but even a million or two would be very welcome. The loss pool will come in handy for offsetting against future profits for tax purposes.

Unfortunately, it's par for the course that many tiny companies on AIM don't make it. Not in itself something to be overly concerned with. No doubt the same people with also have been involved in successful companies. That's certainly true in Roland's case. As always you do your own research and make your mind up.

Nothing is totally impossible so you can never completely rule out losing an investment but in this case most of us think a jv is likely to be signed soon, in which case it's hard to how the sp won't go up from here. Good luck.
