I think the update will come when we Pi's have eventually bought up the placing shares as i can see no sight of a ii. They will then have the money Remember the last update...goodish news but the price raised initially then dropped like a lead balloon when more placing shares were sold. . Frustrating that the BOD will have a lot of money in the bank...and we could end up stuck hear at this price for months . frustrating ! GLA

With net debt reduced to £9m , my take on this is that cash in the bank may have doubled during the period given that most debt is calculated on including the Revolving Credit Facility etc ? ...and as cash is on track to grow, I suspect they are just reviewing the operations for more efficiencies during the current storm. I also don't think a dilution would go well with existing ii's. Maybe good time for HR Net to come back to the table?. Just a thought.

Bit miffed why it didn't rise today. Good results, back to profit and lots of potential. Its trading at a fraction of its highs, and now with more potential. Strange market right now.

Although the prospects look promising , I think the buys are getting swallowed by that 10% flipper, hence a fairly static share price.

My take from todays events :
1) All upgrades are working as designed and ?the plant has shown that it should be capable of operating continuously -
2) Petrofaq Director purchasing substantial shares ( hasn't dipped into his pockets since 2010) so must feel confident.
3) I still think their are some overhang shares being flipped from placing in November. When they are gone soon, this will fly...IMO

I think the results are due...and with a £50k buy, someone is feeling confident. It may be that due to the contracts they have with the likes of Sainsbury, Tesco, DHL, Bohoo etc....they should do well....IMO of course.

its limited to federal lands and does not affect drilling on private lands, which is largely regulated by states.
Oil and gas extracted from public lands and waters only account for about a quarter of annual US production, and does not affect existing leases. Win Win for Tomco if we get through the trial successfully IMO

Nicely put! ! The last few days I noticed some confusion regarding the trial, Tomco's value, and the massive opportunity hence why the SP is where it is. Thus as well as our efforts, I think the board should also re-highlight within the Trial updates the importance of the milestones they have reached and the opportunity this will eventually open.

I believe they are funded to acquire a site ( a portion of the placing in Nov has been set aside for this) and it was suggested by the board that one has been identified. ( I suspect they will only commit on successful conclusion of the trial.)

Tomco’s oil shale leases/licences were acquired to focus on advancing the TurboShale's RF technology a couple of years ago. Oil from shale extraction required a heating process to convert the kerogen in the shale into oil., which the TurboShale was designed to do. It does not however produce clean sand as a bi-product.
What we are doing now is mining oil/sands that already contain oil at near surface so only require a separation process.
After a study on the leases, they determined that while oil/sands were present at depth, more suitable sites with near surface oil sand were identified in the vicinity of the Leases and these will be the focus going forward. Extracting the oil near surface probably has lower operating costs, hence acquiring a new site may be much more commercially viable option.If it was me, I would re-visit the existing leases again to see if they could be mined at depth commercially ,if this technology test proves successful, but lets see what happens. Just to add....its the start of something that could transform the oil and sand industry....and testing is on track doing very well. If it continues on track over the next few weeks, it has a massive potential. I'm invested, as the stock price is attractive v the rewards. The companies involved in this (Tomco, Quadrise, Valkor, Petroteq) have very good tech, experience and contacts. Its an investment that could pay big rewards, and so far its on track to do that.

The technology is currently in test stage and apparently doing very well.... so volumes are ramping up. When all is proven, I believe the technology has the ability to scale (possibly with more machines) ......so 10,000 is an estimate target and could be more, or less , but right now its being tested on lower volumes and all going well. ....hope that helps .

To conclude:
TOMCO are on track to have their own production site, with a licence and IP to produce 10,000 barrels of per day of oil and massive amounts of clean sand , as well as access to Valkor contacts and possible financing of other locations. Its a no brainer.

1) Tomco and Valkor are 50:50 Partners called Greenfield
2) They approached Petroteq and Quadrise to do a deal to prove that the processes being utilised at Petroteq's existing oil sands plant at Asphalt Ridge, Utah (the "POSP") can be scaled up to enable commercial production of 10,000 barrels of oil per day from a single site..( This was based on a report commissioned by Valkor)
3) Proof of commerciality though was subject to the successful completion of the proposed upgrade works to the POSP (Now done and in trial. Progress and results on track)
4) Greenfield is also working with Quadrise, regarding a trial of Quadrise's MSAR® technology at the POSP as well as Petroteq's Oil Sands Technology in this trial.
5) On successful completion of the trial, (which so for is looking good). Greenfield (Valkor and Tomco) will own a Petroteq Licence to use their equipment, and have access to associated IP generated from the trial.
Next step (If the POSP trial is successful)
6) When the trial is concluded, “Greenfield” have approximately £2.8 million to buy a site which includes some for working capital.
7) TOMCO are in the process of securing a site ( announced probably on conclusion of successful POSP trial) for the first proposed commercial 10,000 bopd plant using Petroteq's Oil Sands Technology now that they have been given the licence. This will use the Quanrise system also
8) A potential site in Utah, USA, has been identified by “Greenfield” that the Board believes has a number of key attributes that make it attractive. These attributes include, the required infrastructure to enable construction to commence quickly, the required permits, and the land containing appropriate resources.
9) They will make Further announcements as appropriate

If this trial is successful, which so far is looking good, in my opinion the opportunity for TOMCO is MASSIVE as they will hold the LICENCE and have access to the IP of the technology that will deliver greener oil and sand, as well as OWNING THEIR OWN production site.

Seems to be holding ok with some nice buys coming through.......I have just added a few so hopefully all will be good.

Unfortunately I have been unable to buy this morning.....only sell. I guess shares are limited or an order is being filled ?
