Shorts are closing and I can see us >�140 short term

I suspect they are trying to close out the positions as soon as possible and the dips we have had over the last few days Id expect a lot of those positions have been closed. Itll take time for them to report it though. I can see 130>140p short term I'm loading up.

chesh - You are correct its all false but it doesn't matter the seed is planted. Shorts I suspect are closing as quickly as possible now without spooking the SP. Wouldn't surprise me to see more negative(false) reports over the next week. Recon we should start a ramping story doesn't matter if its right or wrong! lol

Docisacoc - There is still a large 11.3% short open but if you look at the pattern it tells a story:- All funds were short 2 of them started to close their shorts 3 are now closing and one is holding we have had two "negative" reports to bash the shares in the last week I'm expecting to see these funds reducing the shorts over the next few weeks

Anyone notice that most of the short sellers are closing their positions and when the share price looks to be heading up, O look, another bashing report by a company who has a short position! They are running scared now as they try and close their positions. This will rebound hard over the next few weeks. Got some at 96p and 103p now so I'm happy to watch this walk back up to ~150p

If you look at the short tracker Marshall started closing its short and few others have as well. They all look to be using this last effort at bashing to close out the shorts. Next few weeks in the run up to the results will see this back up to +�1.3. ive bought some at 96p and if we go down there again ill be buying more

Got a sneaky feeling we might attack 100p again as nervous people exit just in case apples results tell a story of what the forecast/sales are for the IPhone X. Hard one to call so I'm waiting on wings till tomorrow and see what happens. Been nice little trade from 103 to 115p but I do see this as an over reaction so could be an ideal buying opportunity.

Short position has reduced slightly so I suspect they are all beginning to close out but we wont know for few days as it takes them time to report it. Can see this heading back to at least 140p short term. Hoping my 102 and 109p entry is timed perfectly!

I think a lot of people would have a mental �1 is my limit so if we break it I suspect a quick flash crash to ~90p but not sure it will stay there long.

Looks like we are going for the 90's could be a lot of stop losses set at this level! might get messy

Looking at the updated short list we have moved from all the funds being equal/increasing to reducing/equal/increasing. I think we are getting to the bottom but we could see a sharp drop followed by a big bounce if we break the �1. I bought back in ~�1.03 if it goes below �1 Ill be selling the wife :-)

Unfortunately people are looking at headlines of "IPhone X being cancelled" and coupled with a short attack we have had a perfect storm happen which has knocked the wind out of our sails. People need to look at the facts:- -Company growth is double digits -Last update is pointing to no changes in growth -"IPhone X cancel" is a rumour. The full article mentions new models with face recognition coming end of year so assuming IQE supplies this part(!) then they are embedded for the long term Face recognition and the spin off money making from it will mean its here to stay. I can see this being rolled out to ipads, Imacs, apple TV, etc over the next few years. You'll also see other manufacturers jump on this so more business for IQE. And this is only one product line for IQE! I'm buying at this level for the long term as this could well be >�4 in few years as the world embraces all the high tech products.

Looking for some lithium results in next few weeks to kick things off(>0.7p). As we are an investment company rather than the developer majority of costs are with the companies in question we just need to wait and see what the results are. Interesting times ahead.

deltalo I love "well overdue now" you for real! The two weeks timeline was to the end of last week so you can argue we are one working day late. FFS you idiot. This company has never hit a deadline you only have to look at the last tailing project that was a complete shambles and delays of months. I would have been shocked if they had given the information within the one/two week deadline! I'm still bullish on this share but also keep in mind that the BOD are completely useless its all a risk v reward. You never know they might have some luck and give us some good news. You also have to keep in mind that the BOD need to ramp up the price so they can carry on diluting us to pay their wages so I'm sure something rampy will come.

Hope so I want to see NEW doing well out of this after the hard times of last year.

Loan convertible at 17p unless further raises at lower prices in which case we can convert at that price. Low risk for us which is nice to see. Tuck this away for at least a year and then come back to see what's happening or if the lights are still on!

If you're on about the legacy issue then there will be no details released. Its all speculation at the minute so no one will make a public comment in case they get prosecuted for libel. As this is such a small amount compared to the $4b stolen I suspect we are way down the importance list so we are unlikely to see any info on this for some time. Stick the shares in your bottom draw and come back in years time to see where we are.
