We were all disappointed in the Merlin2 result. But, we are are hopefully all sufficiently experienced enough to have understood the risks. I've said for a while that our icewine acreage is still our biggest assett. It will come good I hope. I also don't mind in the least in 88e riding off the back of PANR success, as I'm invested there too.
We are know each drill has a cos - therefore why not wait for your neighbour to partially delineate their discovery to help your own investment case?. It's what exploration is all about. And probably related to a prolific posters ire.

Trying to understand and argue with the enigma that posts on here daily and with excess verbosity, has now become a real cause of nausea and pain for long term 88e holders. So much so, that we all have a perfect right to despise the c##t.
The real reason he posts on here is absolutely not what he claims. IF, as he claims, he has in his career, 23 years experience analysing the npv of oil and gas companies, thereby 'proving' that he is THE 'man'. Hell yeah! I would imagine a man of that calibre would have far more important things to do with his time, don't you?
No, he is basically a liar, a spreader of falsehoods and is paid to be here, imo. No amount of arguing with him will help, and he probably gets paid per word for bull he writes. Just filter him and never answer him or acknowledge a thing he says.

It could be interesting if any 'leaks' of buyout/s start to filter through. Either now or anytime in next 2 years. From that point of view alone, this share imo could be the biggest oil play based in NA, or possibly world wide for those adventurous enough to take part.
Then again, I could be wrong. They could blow the negotiations or the next drill. Buy more? Sell? Hold? Decisions decisions.

Catching a falling knife is always risky, but if you are confident, through research, you can do it successfully, either by wearing kevlar gloves or simply knowing your 'facts' and fellow shareholders overall mindset. Reading these boards does help, but being able to read between the lines is prerequisite to making a buy/sell judgement.
Btw. I Don't see the point in posts just commenting on the sp. movements intraday unless of course said punter has some reasoning as to why the price is changing, and whether its justified. Don't filter but quickly learn to dismiss the carp.

Agree that posting right now is not so relevant due to sheer volume of posts. However, as disappointed as we all are, we should take some comfort from the 'out of the blue' management strokes that have been played in recent times.
1. The cash generated last year to pay off debt using sale of Tax Credits. July 2021. Debt free is always a good thing.
2. Acquisition of Texas Oil and Gas assets to create a long awaited revenue, thereby reducing future exploration costs to shareholders. Feb2022. Income streams in oil and gas when prices are rocketting is always a good thing too.
3. Being patient in waiting for our Northern neighbour to unleash the full potential of what they have on the next door acreage. 2021 to 2022. This will be a massive up lift, I hope.
Relax and wait a bit longer I say.
