If there are MM games, if they exist, they will hopefully be short lived as the latest RNS sinks in. Don't know why, but this share always seems to have a lag between the Eureka moment and the price tag between stapled to the goods.

I just think the setting of this first dividend (and other announcements on 22nd) will, in all likelihood, set the tone for the next few months.
My understanding is that the dividend will only be based on the 6 /7months since they floated ,so not yet a full years sales. For certain, next years will be much better, given the liklihood of coal prices remaining high.
But yes, I'm sure the BOD understand that the setting of this dividend is crucial to investor sentiment and hence could be a massive influence on the day. Not for the nervous thats for sure.

Does anyone expect the SP to drop by the same amount as the declared dividend on 22nd March? OR, does it depend on the generosity of the the payout?
ie a low/mediocre payout = a corresponding downrate in SP
OR
a generous /high payout = a strongly held SP

Unlikely to get further updates until total depth in 2 weeks, but anticipation based on 56% cos likely to build. The next RNS will be critical to Merlin 2 success, but we could get An Icewine upgrade before then... gulp!!

I decided to jump ship at 899p on Friday. Pretty decent profit considering average buy in about 150p. If it drops back significantly before 22nd, I may be back in for the longer term divis. We will see.
Good luck if I've bailed too early. Just my luck if it zooms onwards to £12 and beyond.

The fickle fingers of keyboard investors heh? I think when ppl return to look at the fundamentals, it could rise just as rapidly as it fell. That is what I think and hope will happen. Give it 3 to 6 months. HL must be fuming at the lost revenue on all the companies held in their nominee accounts.

I’ve looked into ours and CK Hutchison corporate governance on their website and cannot see anything untoward at all. Shrugs shoulders and I still think all will be well. It could be an amazing time to top up. Who knows for sure?

On our website we updated our audit committee procedures in June 2021. Everything looks fine to me. This can only be a new procedure glitch IMO. Way way overreacted. Top up time.

I'm no expert Dave, and I have read many times of your exposure here and to be honest i have admired your commitment and faith in the company and read many of your valuable snippets of research and commentary finding myself agreeing with your research after checking personally. It's rare to have that on the LSE boards especially when it comes across without a ramping type style. I'm still invested, and also surprised at our CEO's sudden departure.
However, I think his family should absolutely come first, and who knows what world events have accelerated his departure. But its his decision in very troubling times.
Bear in mind that the Hang Seng Biotech index has fallen 44% in 12 months. Probably quite similar to our recent demise in truth.
Maybe we should just wait for the news to trickle through with pipeline updates and see what happens. I personally would hate to sell and then find it jumps back up.
Is it safe to say that a predatory takeover has no chance with our share structure?
I been through enough downturns to know when to get out or stay in. I'm in for now. I might even top up on any sniff Russia's leader suddenly feeling unwell.
