Agreed Longandwrong - I don't care either who is on the BoD. Business is business, its only about one thing - getting the job done. The current BoD have communicated very poorly on what the situation is regarding the court ruling and licences negotiations on or off, letters from DC etc, and this poor communication could lose them the vote in an EGM.

Longandwrong, if the BoD has that Moz high court ace then I really hope so - but they need to play it pretty quick or lose the vote in the EGM. Us shareholders have seen the letter sent to Align by DC, yet the BoD were saying in the AGM last Nov. that "all parties have a willingness to sign the deal" - so someone is telling porkies somewhere.

FH1 - when the EGM date is announced then I assume that we all will see exactly what the detailed resolutions are, other than to just replace the BoD. I don't think James Lumley as new CEO could be seen as one of the generals men - he is current CEO of Anglo African Minerals and if there was any shifty business coming then I doubt he would risk his reputation by becoming new CEO of PFP. But what are the resolutions ?- we all need to know before we vote. Will there be a one time payment to GV and DC such that licences are returned and they walk away for good?

Steelr66, the 2016 report was released on 27th June 2017, so possibly the full year 2017 report will be released in June 2018? All the same you would think that if the current BoD were in a strong position then they would have set the date for the EGM by now so as to face off all issues raised by shareholders, but since they appear to be delaying then it really doesn't look good at all. The bottom line is that licences are still not back so surely BoD has to hand over the baton to get the job done by new BoD, simple as that?

I'm hopeful that enough shareholders will see the light and vote in favour of the EGM resolutions to change the BoD. One question that I hope will be answered in the EGM is when Eduardo was appointed to the job in May 2016 then you would think that he would have been straight over to talk to GV at the Maputo country club, or wherever, and that GV would have told him that there would be no deal with current BoD - what did Eduardo do for that massive length of time?

Of course its just a guess Dinoman, but my main point is that if this deal comes together then looking into the mirror at Kenmare Resources operating its one and only mining operation next door (the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine), and with a SP above 2 quid, its not fanciful thinking to say that PFP could have a SP well above 1 quid when the minerals sands are sold onto world markets in a few years from now.

May 2018 - successful EGM, Trew & Bellingham move on, SP = 3p August 2018 - licenses deal done and dusted, SP = 10p 2021 - Mine built and operating, producing cash, lots of profit and jobs = SP = 150p any other predictions anyone?

Has that included Jennings having been to Maputo with new proposed BoD to meet with key players, I hope? All will be revealed soon the in EGM I guess.

True - but even if there is a new BoD it could take a significant length of time to negotiate licenses back (3 months, 6 months?), and with no guarantees I guess.

Taurus7 - actually the situation in Jan was not based on rumors at all - it was confirmed by RNS that it is 100% the case. I loaded up today thanks to sellers. I don't care when t/o happens and I based my buying decision on a high chance, 90%, that it will happen - take a close look a the history of many start up tech stocks - its the same pattern.

Interesting to note that the FTSE100 has dropped quite a bit since Jan - doesn't help mysq or any stock.
