DM, the big picture is that Align has yet to put forward a clear pathway such that DC can be trusted to do a fair deal, and there has been no written evidence from GV on his position. Aligns case has mainly been positioned on giving the current BoD a kicking, and Align has not built a case such that shareholders can trust GV and DC more than the current BoD.

DM, DC has been attempting to sell the lincences 100% outright to a Chinese outfit most recently. If that had happened then 100% of the monetised amount would go straight to PMSA and PFP shareholders would end up with 0%.

Richard - why have you not published this letter for all shareholders to see?.... We have seen sight of a letter sent to Trew on the 26th October 2017 by PM SA in which it was made clear that PM SA was NOT in negotiations with the current BoD of PFP and further, they in fact made clear that they believed Trew and Bellingham were misleading the market.

DM, with resolutions to oust the current board and do a deal with DC without any clue as to what this deal could look like is foolish. Let’s say resolutions are passed then DC says to new BoD that the deal will be 99% in favour of PMSA, then what?

So if a new BoD gets in then what negotiating power do they have with DC and GV? - the UK high court ruling - same as for the current BoD.

Dinoman, according to the circular from BoD the out of court negotiations with GV and his daughter were making solid progress towards finality, and where DC was not involved - and then appears the letter from DC saying that he will not negotiate with the BoD, and with no word from GV or his daughter - very odd indeed. Where is the proof from PMSA to iron out his apparent rift between GV and DC? - none. Why are they not talking with one voice? Also the Moz high court can still rule in favor of PFP and the Moz president sat in front of Liam Fox a couple of weeks ago in the UK to discuss UK private investment, including heavy sands projects - so this could be highly indicative of a court ruling coming soon. Tell me that DC has not attempted and failed to sell the licence multiple times to the highest bidder over the past few years - that says it all.

Richard - your drive to get this sorted out because of sheer frustration is very commendable indeed and is aligned with most of us major shareholders here. If anything it will give the current BoD a rocket up the backside to get this sorted once and for all. I have over 30 years experience working in Africa and I think you are taking a major risk by "getting into bed" with a guy in Africa (DC) that you have never met. Rather use the coming EGM as non-confrontational opportunity to look for a way forward for all us shareholders. DC is a thief as proven in the UK's highest court - your homeland. As much as you dislike NT and HB I suggest you go to the EGM in person and work out a solution with them jointly, and if you have to go to Moz with them to talk to GV and DC to sort it out then do it. This whole problem has occurred in the first place because of poor communications leading to bad blood and misunderstandings.

Can anyone answer why GV and his daughter were negotiating an agreement with PFP BoD via Eduardo et all and then DC, as chair of PMSA, says “I” will not negotiate with current BoD. This is a very odd situation.

I don't know about that cabman, but your're right he should have done and urgently needs to go. In fact the whole BoD needs to revisit Maputo to reconcile a way forward and bury the hatchet with GV, DC, Ministry of Mines etc and get this sorted out asap. According to the RNS, Eduardo met GV and his daughter many times for discussions so surely this built a foundation such that discussions were heading in the right direction? If I was Jennings and Lumley I would have been on a plane months ago to meet the players in Maputo, look 'em in the eye and decide then if an alternate deal is viable.
