Talk of the global reset started in early 2019 if not before. Th virus has provided the imperfect opportunity. If people do not get into the conversation, they will be left out ...

We can emerge from this crisis a better world, if we act quickly and jointly, writes Professor Klaus Schwab.
The changes we have already seen in response to COVID-19 prove that a reset of our economic and social foundations is possible.
This is our best chance to instigate stakeholder capitalism - and here's how it can be achieved.
COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying. There is good reason to worry: a sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But, while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable.
To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.
In short, we need a “Great Reset” of capitalism...and quite a lot more, government wold be another, and to rely on our present workings in democracy is cleary failing even the sniff test.
One one hand in Oz we have the Liberals who last night had a lot (nnot all) of their dirty linen aired on 60 minutes...claimed one of the conservative faction's leaders, Marcus Bastiaan, orchestrated a scheme to use taxpayer-funded electorate office staff to recruit members to build up the grouping's strength. It is against the rules to have electorate staff conduct party political activities.
Of course the other paty to vote for is the Labors who in June about their horrendous practises of barnach stacking (etc, etc)///...More Labor heads are set to roll after Victoria's industrial branch-stacking scandal spread to NSW, with Labor MP Julia Finn quitting the NSW shadow cabinet on Friday.
So with the 2 major parties both being exposed for what they are, the poor bloke and woman on the street has not much of a choice! Never has!!
The "light" entertainment continues to come from the investigation into the disasterous "management" of the Hotel quaranting in Vctoria. A security guard who worked across three quarantine hotels - including the virus-ridden Rydges, to which 90 per cent of Victoria's second wave of virus cases can be traced - was recruited by WhatsApp by a security firm he had not heard of previously...still waiting to see if he had any security experience, so hold your breath (and I suggest be seated) until tomorrow.
Rollicking show, which inspires NONE of any age. Pathetic to the core..and when they retire they get a mates job and a healthy pension!!!
