Hi Opt five hundred up on switch from lgen to lloyds this morning bought some cineworld but already up 14% today at mid 60s grr.

Ive removed the kitchen sink,carried it over the vomitting camel and traded it in for lloyds shares.

Go over to google finance and do a max graph comparison on performance of aviva and lgen.
According to graph since inception lgen had been up 800% when at 320p whilst Aviva still in negative territory,hard to believe but check it for yourselves,which is why Im convinced that Lgen sp will overtake Avivas.
Aviva also employs four times the staff to just double the revenue.

If you buy lgen after its gone ex then you have already got the dividend discount.
If it then gets cancelled ,does the dividend figure not get automatically added back on to the share price?

Barclays are a different kettle of fish,used to have an sp higher than lgen,look at it now,bankers/traders bonuses enough said.

Interesting point you have just made,but I would have thought with the sp automatically dropping on going ex that it couldnt be cancelled?
Im hoping for double cake lgen dividend now and August,maybe then a switch September before any confirmation of Aviva dividend.

Came out of Aviva first thing,precaution with negative oil prices,tried to dive into fresnillo, hl blocked it thanks a bunch cost me 4% profit,anyway back into lgen for a number of reasons.
a)dividend going ex in a couple of days
b)still 60% below peak but already recovered to September levels
c)who knows with being markets preferred choice sp might overtake avivas on recovery
