Genuine answer, I am not really sure anymore!

Always had a niggling feeling that the lack of 3D on our project back in 2021 would be detrimental to us further down the line, and can't make my mind up whether that has been the case or not!

How much more beneficial is the more expensive 3D that Noble used ?

Did it get them better drill locations, or is all their talk and lab testing just a smoke screen for now ?

And will we see results from their lab samples or are they spinning things along hoping for some real results from HE1 ?

Has been a good end to the week for me so far, as I ordered 750l of heating oil, and when they delivered it yesterday the driver filled the tank with 2100l

I phone in to find out why and because it was their mistake they reduced the price and agreed to invoice over 3 months- result!

Also, I have an 11 kw water turbine on our farm. It has refused to connect to the grid and have had endless attempts to resolve the problem over 2 months. Eventually I contacted the original install in the Lake District, David the owner came up and completed a thorough electrical component check, and eventually found a rogue resistance wire in the Siemens controller which was shorting and disrupting all the control readout figures - sorted, working again and a result!

Expecting a good news story today or w/end to complete the three!

Tai3 was spudded 25th Sept. Running Conductor pipe 26th Sept. Cementing, 17" drill, casing, cementing, and then picture of BOP being fitted on 2nd Oct.

So 6 days, which would be this Saturday would be a realistic timescale to have all in place and be ready to drill on with intermediate 12 5/8" Bit.

Fingers crossed all is operating as planned.

The “IF” in your post is the critical point here. If they don’t post an update soon then the market will start to believe the worst, god forbid, so if all is still on track they have to keep updating the facts!

Wasn’t meaning the drill would stop turning at night, just reducing the load. Lol

So when the BOP is fitted and tested we will have 500 to 700 metres to drill with a 12 5/8” Bit ?

Plus testing and sampling as we go, so the timescale that she indicated of 4-5 weeks is very conservative.

Just need some recoverable gas down there!

What depth do you reckon the surface casing will be down ?

No mention of round the clock shifts for drilling. Daylight is approx. 12 hours, so are the working a single shift to save money and be more vigilant in looking for possible maintenance issues, when they can see them more readily ?

Risks both ways, but the reality is that the future of the company will be mapped out in the next 3 weeks at Itumbula. It will be a raise from a better SP, or a fire sale - which one ? The answer lies beneath the Drill!

And just to add, we have completed 20” conductor hole and casing and cementing, 17.5” hole and casing down to 150-200 metres being done as we speak, so once BOP is installed we will have 600-650 metres to drill 12 5/8”

If you invested £10k in this then 9p at the end of it all is pretty poor. Lol

Perhaps it will break soon, but if you look at the facts the odds of it doing the job are better here than at Tai3

Only 60% of depth to reach 800m

Drilling will be slower if testing and sampling as we go down = less continuous stress and torque on the drill

New roughneck

Hydraulic repairs and upgrading carried out

Electrics checked out

More scrutiny each day the equipment is being used

So a bit of a Sunday drive in comparison to Tai3

Think the issue this time is down to the presence of free gas, or not!
