Noble updated the situation to say the labs are back at work and possibly another 2 weeks for results but still believe they will be positive.

Surely the presence of gas in the mud or not, will be the trigger for testing ? No gas shows, keep drilling down guys, or wait a minute, there’s gas bubbles in the mud over the last 30 metres, so let’s investigate it ?

He had a Sentinel image of Nobles Mbelele Site on his Flickr page on 9th January, but nothing on Tai or Itumbula. Probably had a bellyful, and decided it wasn't worth the effort with our band of Rogues in charge of Operations.

At Itumbula, they are drilling into the Basement where it is an Apex structure, rising nearer to the surface, like the top of a pyramid if you like, so the data they have will be more accurate at the shallower depth. I agree it is all speculative, but I think what was leaned from Tai3 will be helpful in pinpointing where, what, and to required depth they want to go down through this time!

Next Monday RNS, with a couple of X pics later this week ? The final page, or the end of the first chapter ?

Tai 3 was spudded on Monday 25th Sept. and at 11.42pm on Wednesday 4th October it was announced that the Rig had a problem, and drilling had stopped. That's 9 full days operating the drill. They stated that the BOP well protection equipment was installed and tested, and they were drilling down, presumably the intermediate section. It was also stated that they were expecting to reach TD of 1100m on the upcoming weekend, the 7th/8th October. Obviously this didn't transpire, but the timescale would have been on target for their original estimate of 2 weeks!

At Itumbula, we are on our 11th day, BOP fitted and hopefully tested, and presumable drilling down now, to 800-850m anticipated TD. Timescale will be extended as we are stopping to test and sample on the way down, as was stated in the last RNS/Interview, but if all is progressing smoothly, then the end of this week should give us some news.

Very Good, waffle, or final admission of failure will be the question!

If that was the case, Noble would have done all in their power/wallet to get the Lab Results completed by paying to jump the queue, etc. , to allow them to declare a discovery! But what they are in fact doing is hiding away, in the hope that Itumbula comes up with some worthwhile data, so they can piggy back those findings. Nobles PR has been much more aggressive than that of HE1, but in reality, most of it has been exaggerated, and much of it had to be corrected publicly.

In effect, what we have is 2 goldfish swimming about in an ocean, looking for morsel of food!

So there is no way you can say North Rukwa is the Sweet Spot for a Free Helium Gas discovery.

And like Noble, you tend to spout nonsense rather than fact!
