I took those maiden drill core pictures and I compared them to other successful drill pictures using AI and it concluded that there were significant sections where gold is normally found. So your hypothesis sounds reasonable Catbert

This is just a bit of fun, and genAI is known to make up random stuff. I asked it to compare the image and observations with those made at Havieron. Here's what it said:

The Mbe drill cores show promising geological characteristics comparable to Havieron, including felsic intrusions, sulphide mineralisation, and silica alteration. While the results at Havieron showcase exceptional high-grade zones, it is reasonable to expect that Mbe could deliver:

High-grade intervals in sulphide-rich zones (potentially 3-8g/t Au).

Broader, lower-grade mineralised envelopes (0.5-1.5g/t Au).

If assay results align with these expectations, Mbe could position itself as a significant discovery in West Africa, akin to the early success Greatland Gold experienced in Australia.

As above, so below. That's really positive that they can see the same structures, confirms that it continues at depth

Actually more like 8p. The thing is, the partnerships in place make it a minable resource prospect, so it's genuinely fair market value at £300m mcap if based just on Bibimi. It boggles the mind that this isn't seen by the market.

If they updated the jorc based on those results and the increase in gold price I'd value Oriole's market cap at £300m+ for Bibimi alone

That sounds like someone either desperate for something to write about, having a political whinge because they want more for their own cause (and this is from an "expert" who seems to have no understanding of what it takes to mine or explore in their country).

Not to mention Oriole are not from Australia.

The only other reason for the article (and I prefer this speculation) is that it's a dreamer who knows something big is coming and wants shares cheaper 😂

The only plausible solution is to draw the lines where they now sit, regardless of either side's aims. We've seen what happened. Too many are dying for literally nothing. @Kutzz I think the thing to bare in mind is that you don't know what their salaries are. If they're doing all this work and are significantly underpaid (which I suspect is the most probable case) you need to offer an incentive for them to stay. The average person will only put up with poor pay for so long so this, to me, is a great incentive to keep them doing what they're doing. They are probably making extensive personal sacrifices for this company and are likely baring all the shareholder's weight to try and make the success out of a company that could easily have been dead a long time ago.

I'm more than happy with this award, all things considered.
