AA sets up dedicated line for NHS workers if they breakdown on route so they can support the NHS and keep NHS workers on the road - fair play to them - they asked NHS how can we help and this the request
AA dont underwrite the insurance - its done by Cigna from memory - they are a shop front rather than financing the terms of policies
Message from JW on linked-in this morning
“ looking into the future, we are very optimistic. We see the focus of our government on creation of employment and security of energy supply. Business opportunities continue to build up for Harland and Wolff across all the sectors. Since the acquisition, the Harland and Wolff team continue to put down strong foundations in order to capitalise on growth opportunities. These opportunities that were in the distant horizon till recently are now gradually being converted into real and substantial commercial contracts. We will continue to pursue them on a business-as-usual basis. In the short term, we have multiple ships that are planned to dock over the next six weeks in order to ensure that critical transportation vessels remain in service.”
It is intriguing as to what the meeting at no10 was about
The arrival of Dublin Swift is the start of a busy period in the Belfast dry dock at Harland and Wolff, we have been juggling dates to keep all our new clients happy. #INFA creating jobs and creating economic growth.

Dave - I left the twitter board because of your war and peace complaints and moaning - let’s try and be positive for what has been hard work and we are where we are - please don’t start on here with the how it would have been great if you had done it - all very tiresome.
This was in the news today - H&W mentioned towards the bottom
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.cbronline.com/news/digital-heart-of-uk-warships/amp/
“The development of this new class of warship involves several contractors such as Thales, OMT, BMT, Harland and Wolff and Ferguson Marine, who all work on the development platform Team 31.”
Thanks Ban that’s very good of you to post your detailed notes - reads very well, just need Infa to get it done
I unfortunately am travelling with work so cant make it but one question for the AGM is H&W have so far had limited work with the ferries but unless something large drops pretty quickly how is Infa going to pay to keep this going as work to cover costs is not seeming to be forthcoming - the IM works are a good while away from keeping self sufficient (financing still not finalised for a few months so thats not going to keep H&W busy etc etc) and as we know funds are on on emergency drip with £550k due in 14 days -
Halite chief executive Keith Budinger says the brine proposals has been given the green light by the Environment Agency, Natural England, and the Marine Management Organisation, and says similar projects in other parts of the world have not caused problems.
He adds that the gas storage scheme itself and and the brine operation will be carried out to exacting specifications.
As reported in November 2019 and it was on the BBC
Halite energy stated on the press in November 2019 that Drilling of the salt caverns and laying of the brine outfall pipe is expected to begin in the summer of 2020. so what’s your point - it’s going ahead as I’m sure you well know and are in contact with the protesters over there!!
Great to read in final results RNS that the caverns have been confirmed that they can be used for hydrogen storage. Another tick for green fuels
Need some updates - November checklist items and not long till q4 comes to an end. (plus H&W news to feed all those mouths) - Come on Infa get the pen to paper on a good RNS!!
