I unfortunately am travelling with work so cant make it but one question for the AGM is H&W have so far had limited work with the ferries but unless something large drops pretty quickly how is Infa going to pay to keep this going as work to cover costs is not seeming to be forthcoming - the IM works are a good while away from keeping self sufficient (financing still not finalised for a few months so thats not going to keep H&W busy etc etc) and as we know funds are on on emergency drip with £550k due in 14 days -

Halite chief executive Keith Budinger says the brine proposals has been given the green light by the Environment Agency, Natural England, and the Marine Management Organisation, and says similar projects in other parts of the world have not caused problems.

He adds that the gas storage scheme itself and and the brine operation will be carried out to exacting specifications.

Halite energy stated on the press in November 2019 that Drilling of the salt caverns and laying of the brine outfall pipe is expected to begin in the summer of 2020. so what’s your point - it’s going ahead as I’m sure you well know and are in contact with the protesters over there!!

Great to read in final results RNS that the caverns have been confirmed that they can be used for hydrogen storage. Another tick for green fuels

Infa has obtained the 3rd party audits not Daera . They have submitted to Daera for example a 3rd party audit on the brine dispersal model with the other documents they had to submit. I read your post as if you were saying Daera has gone out for them - so apologies if miss understood your post

They need to get the draft GSA out asap as well for the September list and we should see some SP lift

Email back from DAERA today from my query (based on protestors saying they are having to start from scratch on the Marine licence :-
DAERA has received, the following documents, and are currently reviewing them.

· Shadow Habitats Assessment

· Updated Brine Model

· Independent Verification of Brine Model

· Environmental Monitoring Plan

Currently, DAERA has requested a refresh of the marine elements of the Environmental Impact Assessment as these elements are out of date, this requires survey work to be carried out.

So currently all the other elements of the Marine licence submission are under review and only a refresh on marine part of the EIA - not quite the doom and gloom people seem to be saying

No lease has yet been granted. The Crown Estate told me that the lease grant will be later this year and will be to Islandmagee Energy Limited - and importantly there are no issues around the granting of the lease.

All reads great except for a loss in the period. !!
