When I was at school the hottest educational theory was doing maths in base 8 instead of base 10. The clip reminded me of Tom Lehrer, who said, "doing maths in base 8 is just like doing maths in base 10 - if you're missing two fingers".
Maybe the numbers are so big, it's taking a long time to add them up.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there's no rns tomorrow. For me, mid-july can mean anything from the 10th to the 20th. Still hoping, though.

Yes, of course I agree with you that sp movement of any share is based on many, many things, of which the actual operations of the company are but one. But what I meant was the immediate reaction to the rns. What happens to the sp a few days later is anyone's guess, regardless of the content of the rns. But as you say, time will tell. (Doesn't it always?)
To get around the problem of various personal definitions of exactly what each number means, we should say what we think the concrete result of the numbers will be. So will the sp rise, fall, or stay the same on release of the rns? After all, that's the real measure of whether the production numbers are considered good or bad.
I say rise.
Ok, if I can't hedge my bet, I'll stick my neck out and say 4 for the quarter. But that's a 4 considering the circumstances.
For the quarter as a whole, a 3. But what's much more important are the numbers for June, which I hope are reported separately. If they are, i would expect a 4 for the one month.
Have another sip, Richard.
Thanks very much for the link. Align was quicker out of the blocks than I had expected, but I'm not surprised at the tone of the note. The full report promises to be a real beauty. Yes, they're clearly talking their own book, but they make no secret of their relation to kzg, and there's nothing wrong with talking your own book if you can support your opinions with solid information. Could it be that developments at kzg will no longer be regarded as state secrets? If GC is finally lifting the veil of secrecy on this company it's a pretty good sign that he expects there to be a nice flow of good news in the near future. I'm more optimistic about kzg than I have been in a very long time. Even Mrs gmed has stopped snarling whenever I mention kazera.
Hey guys! Wakey, wakey!
That's the most positive rns we've had in a long, long time.
And I was just getting ready to buy some more kzg...lol
Richard, could you put me down for 135 and 42? Thanks!
I've had a closer look at Align and their approach and I like what I see very much. I'm doing my best to remain objective but I can't help but get the feeling that bringing this outfit on board was the smartest thing GC has done since getting LJ to join the company.
Yes, that must be it Animal. (I really ought to read the RNSs more carefully.) From a quick look at Align's website, I wouldn't think they're in the hostile takeover business. If they really are long-term holders, it would be great for us.
I thought it was over 30% for a mandatory offer?
Looks like a reputable bunch and, if they don't intend to make a bid for the remaining shares, they would be a fine major shareholder to have. But like Ontarget, I'd like to know where those shares came from. And I definitely want to know what their intentions are.
