Firstly - thanks for your answer to my question last night.
I’m still unsure however. If the market cap remains the same, then dilution would still occur at the same rate. It’s still just a % discount of the current SP, whether that’s a £0.01 or £1.00.
Is the argument because the dilution in the future doesn’t look as obscene?
Essentially, whether it’s a 100,000 shares or 1,000,000,000,000. You still own the same % of the company for the value you pay. Isn’t it all just pro rata?
From what I’ve read, I haven’t seen one concrete point that actually means this will hurt long term holders. But then at the same time, why would this even be a thing if it’s essentially the same. I guess the figures are just more digestible?
