It says "broadly flat for the year" in both RNS's and goes only explain the revenues for the first 5 months and what they are expecting H2 with the contracts won so far.

Show me in the RNS where they state to expect a 15%-20% drop in revenue on 2024 as you are suggesting on revenues around the £2b mark?

Other side of the Island. Sadly these events are commonplace. And warnings are regularly given out against barbecue, cigarette & glass misuse/disposal. Strong winds haven't helped.

I'm getting the feeling the market is turning in sentiment towards CPI. It is early doors and the needs confirmation in the H1 results. But the steady climb and stability of the SP is instilling some confidence in me, even on low volumes, that this may finally get back to a half decent SP.

Well at best they're £470k down right now if that's the case. Not sure that's how a successful hedge fund runs its business (or indeed is allowed to).

Probably that WorldQuant are a hedge fund and ever since they appeared 6 June the share price has rocketed 50%. Either they're going bust with ridiculous punts and increasing said punt chasing huge losses or they're matching/hedging an ever increasing long position. Which strangely would help explain the rise on no new news.

It is HHH. I don't think it's too far fetched (if they have got the cost savings right in relation to the revenue drop) for CPI to report a modest adj PBT at year end & ongoing FCF from that point. £50m PBT and pe of 10 would suggest an SP of 44p.

Proof will be in the pudding in Aug results and forward guidance. The 5 or 6 analyst consensus on Capitas own website seem to agree that's where they will be last time I looked in March.

@GoCPI Another factor that is receding IMV is the markets usual cautious approach to a new CEO. We're 18 months down the line now with a clearer strategy going forward. Still only 21p old money so a long way to go but encouraging. Like you say this is never a straight line and the benefits for shareholders will be incremental over the medium to long term.

@GoCPI I'm not surprised given the composition of views and responses on these boards haven't changed in the 4 years since I took an interest. As you say best ignored (either way ramp/de-ramp).

Best to look at the market itself and a 50%+ uplift since consolidation and a decent but hardly earth shattering TU suggests the market believes CPI is now at the point of delivering FCF and profits end of 2025 onwards.
