It was late when I read it. I agree now $6.5 mil to set up 4 million additional tests per month split between beakman and Thermo fisher. No idea how much tests cost nor how much will of the additional 4 mil tests per month 133k test per day will come beakmans way and how. Many will be performed by Fisher.

I was sleepy when I did my maths and assumptions. Hhs want 4 million additional tests per month ie 133k tests per day between two technologies Beckman and thermo fisher. Thermo Fisher says it can handle 140k tests per day on its own (real-time!! ) , beckman can handle 100k tests (not in realtime but if gdr system as if 30mins, can't remember?). Gdr is just one of the cogs, we don't know how many tests Beckman will be asked to perform nor how many tests will require gdrs technology nor how much gdr will be paid per test by Beckman. And if you are right, we also don't know where the money is coming from to pay for the tests. Worst case scenario is be km n is given 1 test to do and t h ermo Fisher 129 999k. I suppose its far to assume tests will be executed equally between 67k tests per day by Beckman and 67k by Thermo fisher. So many unknowns we'll only know gdr when gdr publish its q3 results.

Hhs state their budget is $6.5 mil for 4 million tests. Love it how people on here are thinking gdr will earn million per day. Nutjobs the lot of you.

So I believe you can workout the cost of each test, if this is to be achieved within budget. To axhieve additional 1 mil tests per week by oct 1st shared between two technologies Beckman and Thermo Fisher. I assume the tests are shared as a percentage of each companies max capacity. So 41% for Beckman and 59% for fusher

Hhs has $6.5 million to spend, I reckon that approx $1.60 per test (Inc overheads) over 4 weeks. What would gdrs cut be in that? Say 10% of 41% of the total testing by beckman ? We r not looking at huge figures. After October though, who knows? Covid time is a crazy time.

Agree. Forget lse's published buys and sells, it is not accurate enough. I'm very happy to see this price range hold until closing. Expectation is rising and probably its new money that is buying which is always a good thing.

Punit, thanks for the daily comment regarding GDR being worth £2. Would be lost without it.

I think the ii's and indeed pi's are taking profit against any upticks tbh. Perhaps many investors did not expect to be invested in this covid stock for such a long time. Covid stocks do have a shelf life and make no mistake GDR is a covid stock whether investors like it or not.

Anyone know GDRs profit margin wrt to the deal with Beckman? I don't think that's been disclosed and I doubt it ever will be tbh.
