Must be excellent demand for his shares after all the blockbuster RNSs we've had. Roche or any number of big pharma firms regularly take big stakes in other firms as well as full acquisitions. GSK are looking to expand oncology in a big way, this is a real opportunity for them.

Q3s could be a decent Mara catalyst, reckon dilution will be minimal now after market signalled disapproval, formal filing showing $450m less debt has to be a good thing, if btc can break $32k resistance see no reason why we can't recapture $20.

Personally I'm quite relaxed about it as they're performance related, better than can be said for so many directors of low grade UK companies taking shares no matter how bad they are. Probably a good job too as my broker hasn't even given me the option to vote!

Back to the original topic there will always be people on these boards who want to shut down debate. Trying to persuade them that an open forum with views that might challenge them is actually a healthy thing will always be pretty futile.

Funnily enough the ones that are most aggressive about it like A_E_MARSH never contribute anything worthwhile themselves. To be fair he's probably an extreme case with issues that go beyond Audioboom as entire post history is attacking others. But luckily there are no rules that say you're only allowed to post positive things about any given company, imagine how boring this place would be then.

Corz at least is still acting in the expected leveraged way, but then its correlation is purest as survival of equity % itself will ultimately be determined by it. You know things are weird when the bankrupt miner is the one acting most normally.

Agree Chuz it's unexpected that the US miners have broken the normal cycle of acting like leveraged btc. Now we're into final 6 months before halving a new bearishness seems to have taken hold.

Perhaps what's needed is a truly decisive btc move, at least back above July peak for now. At some point sheer demand would kick in and market forces would do their thing again. I'm not worried about the ETFs absorbing liquidity in a way that detracts from miner equity though, as they would be net buyers of exactly what we're producing, so it'd be a positive feedback loop.

Considering wider market this held up very well today, there's a certainly a great deal of market support for this share

@Kaeren Ultimately we're only talking about one non-exec here, company shareholders vote against certain board members all the time for all sorts of reasons, that's allowed so not worth getting too worked up about it. I'm sure that apart from our opinions on a single non-exec we're on same page.

Calling him a psychopath is a bit much. Some folks get far too emotional when someone offers an opposing view on a stock, can only imagine it stems from big over exposure. If truly comfortable with your investment there would be no need to react so strongly to whatever anyone says, no matter how much you disagree with it.

Hi Taverham, personally I'll be voting against his re-appointment at the next AGM, but in favour of all the other directors being reappointed. That's the beauty of the process, we all get a say, for me it would kill the overhang but for you the good news it's highly likely you will be on winning side.

I've praised the board as a whole many times on here, super impressed by their outpermance and consistent delivery. As far Diggle goes - as I said that is just my opinion, so you are free to disagree with it - but he absolutely needs to go. People sell for all sorts of reasons, certainly doesn't change the overall trajectory of the firm. But the optics of drip drip sales are at odds with shareholders' interests as whole. Binning him would cleanse any perceived conflict of interest and leave a team reverted back to that singular focus on the product that has worked so well to date.

Agree would much rather see a balanced debate rather than everyone posting happy clappy burying head in sand stuff. The worst boards are those just full of rampers, noobs lose far more money being sucked by that sort of environment. I just found the gushing continuous praise of this Mancussi character pretty sus.

Some credible points made but if you're not Thomas Mancussi himself you're absolutely in love with him.

The way I see it most UK reits are now trading at big discounts to tangible book value. There are multiple examples touching on 5 year lows. There's such a wide array of value on offer we can afford to be picky. In that climate why go for the provincial office provider with an above average LTV and below average management?

Better to go for a higher calibre outfit imo. Yes it will have a higher market cap, easily done when this is trading a distress level. But should the worst continue to happen in wider market (more of rates up/values down) it's outliers like this that face the highest chance of failing first.

I would say this though, if anyone is short on a £100m company they're absolutely wasting their time if they believe posting on these boards will make one iota of difference. I would laugh my a ss off if they thought they could influence the sp by posting the odd bad review etc.
